Long time ago, I've already reviewed the two of the game, such as Dead Space 1, and 2 are the scariest sci-fi horror game on modern generations gaming. It's dark, it's disturbing, and it's scary as hell that brings the deadly atmosphere for the true survival horror game. Okay, lets do the review shall we. Dead Space 3 is the Sci-fi horror game for PS3, X360, and PC, which developed by Visceral Games, and published by EA Games. It is third sequel to Dead Space 2.
My thoughts about this game is that the game itself is still pretty good game, but it still does have between ups and downs moments of the game is having solid gameplay, decent mission for single player campaign and co-op, but the problem of the game is focusing on action over the survival horror, which unlikely compared with previous games that uses the original horror schemes and of course the story is sounds okay, but not just good as the story from previous game. The story takes after the event of Dead Space 2, Issac Clarke and John Carvier are traveling to Moon and has the mission to end the marker known as Necromorph from preventing recreates the monsters and attempting to destroy humans. Like I say the storyplot is sounds not that bad, but not by far the best in the game. The characters are still pretty good in the game that keeps the game far interesting.
This game has 19 chapters for single player campaign, which I believe this is the most longest game length on Dead Space series.
The gameplay is done pretty solid job for game controls. The character's movements is just like the previous game, but your character able to avoid getting hit by enemies by using crouch to hide and roll to dodge is the new thing in the game. The weapons are still pretty good for shooting range, damaging hit, and feels accurate for aiming controls. You can craft your weapons by going on bench machines, which you can mod your own weapons to make it more powerful, like pistols, shotgun, rifles, razor blades, grenade launcher and etc. You can upgrades weapons as well to improve the performances of the weapons, as well the armor suits from suit kiosk station, which allowing to make your suit even more powerful. You can attack the enemies by using the melee attack, and froze them by using the stasis, which slows them down for 10 seconds. You can pick objects by using the kinesis, which uses as the gravity power is still very cool in the game.
The game is pretty challenging with great boss fights, puzzle solving and of course shooting the crap of the monsters is bloody gruesome what makes the game played fun.
The graphics are still amazing with fantastic characters design, great backgrounds and textures, decent animation, and the nice visual effects, but it's not as dark and grinny as the previous game looked more scary and awesome, but it's still remarkable looking game.
The music and sound has great soundscore for Sci-fi games, and the sound effects is still remains terrifying and some atmosphere. The voice cast is still sound good for the characters in the game with fitted voices and decent dialogues.
The special features has downloadable content, new game plus, and some unlockable stuff in the game are sounds pretty cool.

Bottom line...
Gameplay 8/10 - Great controls, awesome weapons and worth challenging campaign.
Graphics 7.9/10 - Fantastic characters design, great backgrounds and textures, decent animation, and the nice visual effects.
Music and sounds - 7.9/10 - Good music, nicely made sound effects and decent voice cast.
Special Features - 8/10 - It has downloadable content, new game plus, and some unlockable stuff in the game.
Overall 7.9/10 - Dead Space 3 is a good game with soild gameplay, great single player campaign with decent puzzle solving and some challenging levels, but it lacks more survival horror feels that makes the game more action and less darker than previous game. The story is not far sounds amazing, but has some good characters in the game. Despite the poor sales of this game wasn't sold very well compared to previous game, so I'm not sure if they going to make another sequel to this game in the future. If not, it's an shame for the fans of horror games, but anyway it's a good game and I think you should able to try this game out because of the fun single player experiences and has co-op mode to enjoy with.
