Vanquish PS3 Digital Download Review

Vanquish is a mind blowing kick ass third person shooter made by platinum games and published by SEGA.

The story takes place in near future, Russian forces captures the US Space Station to activates the blast wave to destroy the San Francisco. US President orders to US army forces to fight the Russian forces before Russians aiming their target to destroy the New York. 

This game is only has Single Player with 5 Acts to complete.

In gameplay, you get to play as Sam Gideon to wipe out the Russians forces's Robots solders.

The controls is excellent for character's movement with excellent cover system and camera control speed, you can able to change controls on options menu to improve the controls performance. Weapons is fantastical fun with Assault Rifle, Heavy Machine Guns, Rocket Laucher, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle and Laser beam considered to be best weapons in the game with great shooting range, accurate targeting and faster shooting performance. What I like about the character that has a boost slide which you can slide accoss the stage and brutal melee attack which you can finish the bad guy off with faster punches and using bullet time which you can shoot faster in slow motion is a best part of the gameplay. 

The graphics is look great with visuals, animations and design does make it look awesome for HD consoles with heavy graphics engine.

The music and sound is pretty good with heavy sound effects, good music score and decent voice acting which fits well in the game.

The special features comes with ranking scoreboards, tutorial mode, mission select and trophy support.

Advantages

It has a badass fast paced gameplay which makes more entertaining games.

Excellent weapons choice.

Interesting characters.

The cutscenes has a great action.

Louder sound effects goes BOOM AND POW!!!.

Disadvantages

Lacks of online mulitiplayer.

The storyplot was'nt sounds great.

Not enough levels due to short length of the game.

Will this game considered to be a best third person shooter games here, here is my overall.

Gameplay 9.5/10 - Fantastic controls schemes, excellent weapons accuracy and awesome gameplay actions.

Graphics 9/10 - Outstanding visuals, animations and design makes the best graphics engines in HD consoles.

Music and sounds 9/10 - Heavy sound effects, good music score and decent voice acting.

Special Features 6/10 - Ranking scoreboards, tutorial mode, mission select and trophy support.  

Overall 9.4/10 - Vanquish is a one hell of the shooter games with fantastic concepts and atmosphere.

Gravity Rush PSVita Digital Download Review

Gravity Rush is a first open world adventure games for PSVita, developed by SCE Japan Studio.

The story takes place in town of Hekseville, the girl named Kat who lost her memory in the underground of town and then she met the mysterious black cat gives her a power to control the gravity to save the people from the attack of Nevi monsters.

The single player mode has 21 episode to complete with. You playing as Kat to explore the world with mission objectives, challenging time attack, having conversation with people and collecting crystals somewhere in town.

The gameplay is fairly impressive with character movements, camera controls, combat fighting and gravity flying controls makes the controls scheme play good but sometimes the gravity attacks may little bit losing the track when the character attempts to attack the enemy. You can also upgrade your character abilities when collecting purple crystals, you can go on pause menu and go to skill upgrade menu to improve your character performance to make the character go strong. You may also check the map on the options menu to see "which way are you going to?" and the icons is helps you to set destination that you wanted to visit the place which is easier to find. The mission objectives is excellent with well challenging puzzle stages, great battle fights for boss stages and epic levels. The time attack mode is fun to play even with the harder difficulty, you can receive the purple crystals to complete the task with some of the crazy levels to enjoy.

The graphics is look beautiful with great looking cel-shaded characters, colorful backgrounds, sharper textures and excellent visuals effects makes the game look gorgeous on PSVita system. 

The music and sounds has a charming music, cute voice samples and great sound effects.

The special features has a Kat's room to change the costumes conteins DLC which you can get it from PSN Store, warp to the different worlds, have fun messing around in open world stages and trophy support which is quite decent to have it.

Music and sounds 8.9/10 - Charming music, cute voice samples and great sound effects is sounds fantastic.

Special features 7.1/10 - DLC costumes, warp the different levels, have fun messing in open world stages and trophy support is plenty decent enough. 

Overall 8.5/10 - SCE Japan Studio made a great PSVita game in 2012. Gravity Rush is a finest adventure games with great characters and decent story to get Sony gamers to enjoy the epic adventure games like this. I say buy it.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss PSVita Digital Download Review

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is a epic adventure game for PSVita, created by Naughty Dog. This game takes place before the events of the original game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Nathan Drake travels to Panama along with his old pal Jason Dante who taken him to his dig site and introducing his partner Marissa Chase who wanted to help Drake's job just before Drake and Chase gets troubled by Groups of Guerro's men which Roberto Guerro orders his mens to capture them even Jason Dante betrays Drake and Chase for no reasons.
Drake and Chase began to start their quest to find the way to escape from Guerro's base and explore the truths about the Golden Abyss in temple ruins.
I like the character Nathan Drake, which he is just good as the Indiana Jones, has a well skilled climbing, jumping from the ledge, combat fighting skills, collecting treasures for goods, exploring the worlds and some good sense of humour which makes the character so good.
This game on PSVita is quite different from a PS3 counterpart which features the motions controls and touch screen control which is a interesting concepts to have a accurate gameplay. The gameplay is fantastic for combat controls, puzzles solving, climbing skills, motions and touchscreen controls which really makes the gameplay plays outstanding.
The graphics is excellent for backgrounds, textures, visuals, characters design and smooth animation makes the game look brighter and well detailed.
The music and sounds has a best soundtrack in the game, excellent voice work and awesome sound effects.
The special features has Black Market to trade your items through PSN, in single player which you can find a treasure to collect, trade items to find and trophy support.

Unlike PS3 counterpart, it has no online muiltiplayer and no co-ops on this game.

Music and Sounds 10/10 - best soundtrack in the game, excellent voice work and awesome sound effects.

Special Features 6.1/10 - It's needs some more enough features to have.

Overall 9/10 - This is one of the best prequels so far to original game on critically acclaimed series itself.
Naughty Dog deserves to put a best adventure games on Sony's exclusives.
I can guarantee you to buy this on PSVita.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz PSVita Review

I love the first Super Monkey Ball is one of my 10th favourites on Nintendo Gamecube and I also enjoy the second one too. I haven't played other Super Monkey Ball games which came on DS, Wii and other platforms until I got a Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz for PSVita. This game features a 100 stages with 3 difficulty modes, 8 party games, Motion controls, create your own stages and online muiltiplayer.
You get to play as 4 classic characters like AiAi, Mee-Mee, Gongon and cute little baby monkey to complete the challenge on single player. You may also play as another 4 brand new characters on party mode like Yan-Yan, Doctor, Jam and Jet joins the party.
So what can I say about this game, It's pretty not that bad. There are some good and bad part of the game that I have experienced to enjoy the latest Monkey Ball games.

The gameplay is fairly okay when playing single player stages with left stick controls is a basic things to control the character easily while the gyrosensor control is hard to use. The touchpad controls is better on the front when playing a party game like Monkey bowling and Pixie hunt which worked pretty well while rear is completely useless for monkey Rodeo is difficult to control.

The graphics has a flaws with blurry background, terrible water animation and fine level design which needs a better job than that.

The Music is pretty catchy and good sound effects which makes the Music and sounds so decent.

The special features does have a 100 stages to complete the challenge and 8 party games with 2 muiltiplayer modes which has a 4 players offline and online. Creating the stages by using the PSVita camera and trophy support which is quite enough to have it.

Advantages

Creating the stages is quite interesting.

Decent music and sound.

There are some good party games that I like is Monkey Bowling, Pixie Hunt, Love maze, Monkey Target and Monkey Bingo.

Some good stages on single player.

Muiltiplayer can be fun to play.

Disadvantages  

Gyrosensor controls and rear touchpad may be difficult to use.

Graphics needs more improvements.

Sometimes single player stages can be frustrating which makes the stages a bit too much challenge.

There few party games that I don't like is Monkey Rodeo, Number ball and Battle Billiards.

Final Verdict       

Is this game will be disappoint us, lets find out.


Gameplay 6.5/10 - An okay controls schemes for basic use except the motion sensor being repetitive.

Graphics 5.9/10 - Graphics has a okay level design but animation and backgrounds needs a better job.

Music and Sounds 7.3/10 - Catchy music and good sound effects.

Special Features 7.9/10 - 100 stages, 8 party games, creating the stages and 2 Muilitiplayer modes is plenty enough to have.

Overall 6.5/10 - Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz wasn't a bad game at all. It has a good stuff to enjoy the game and some of the bad stuff will going to frustraight us. It wasn't just good as the original Monkey Ball on Gamecube which has a better party games and better single player stages that I like the most. This game is better off renting it and decide whenever if you like it or not.

Sonic Colors Wii Review

I'm now going to talk about the history of Sonic The Hedgehog first before I'm reviewing this game for Wii.

History of Sonic The Hedgehog

Back in 1990, Yuji Naka and Hirokazu Yasuhara decided to make a 2D platformers games for SEGA Genesis. Naoto Oshima created the character ''Sonic The Hedgehog'' is became a part of the mascot of SEGA replacing Alex Kidd. The first game release in 1991, Sonic the Hedgehog is a first 2D platform game came on SEGA Genesis which became a commercial success and one of the best platformers games on 16 bit system due to praises of faster 2D gameplay, graphics visuals, soundtrack and memorable stages. 

In 1992, SEGA brought the sequel called Sonic The Hedgehog 2 which includes the new character Tails is been introduced in the game as playable characters. It became the best selling game for SEGA Genesis and did have a positive review by gamers magazines.

Sonic The Hedgehog is now became the most popular video game characters in SEGA's history.

In 1993, Sonic CD became a masterpiece of 2D platform games which SEGA offers a best Sonic games for SEGA CD before the SEGA CD went became a marketing failure is due to weaker system and mediocre games library.

In 1994, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is now pushed back to Genesis system. The sequel have including the new character such as Knuckles the Echidna who ambushes Sonic at the start of the game scene and stealing Sonic's chaos emeralds. Sonic and Tails began to runs after Knuckles to stop him handing chaos emeralds to evil scientists Dr Robotnik. The game had became a best sequel for SEGA Genesis and sold the game well just before Sonic and Knuckles came release 8 month later which is follow up sequel to Sonic 3. Sonic and Knuckles came with lock on cartridge which you can play a expansion pack games such as Blue sphere as a bonus game by using Sonic 1 cart. You could also play as Knuckles on Sonic 2 and 3. It did get a positive reception from game reviewers for praising the gameplay, stages and boss levels. 

In 1999, Sonic Adventure is a SEGA's first 3D platformer games came on SEGA Dreamcast. It comes with epic 3D stages, Story cutscenes, 6 playable characters in story mode and awesome boss fights. This game came with well-recieved reviews from critics as beening a great 3D platformer for SEGA Dreamcast. 2 years later, Sonic Adventure 2 is a last Sonic games for SEGA Dreamcast which did became a great Sonic games so far before the lifespan of Dreamcast was discontinued in 2001.

In 2004, Sonic Heroes did came on muiltiplatform consoles such as Gamecube, PS2 and Xbox. It did have a average reviews from critics criticised the camera controls being flawed and PS2 version have problems with graphics and framerate compared to other versions like Gamecube and Xbox did it better.

In 2006, Sonic 06 came on X360 and PS3. After the release of this game, it considered to be a worst Sonic games in series and panned by critics and fans due to poor gameplay, loading times, slow framerates and weak storyline which became a huge disappointment to SEGA fans. Sonic Team had a hard time to develops the game and they wanted to rush the release of the game for winter and PS3 launch titles as one of the SEGA biggest mistakes. 

In 2008, SEGA decided to make a sequel called Sonic Unleashed which features the improved gameplay, graphics and story. This game has a mixed reviews from reviewers which they say it's far better than the Sonic 06 but it has a few flaws on this game. 

As gamers and I know the old Sonic games are better but why SEGA have trouble with the newer ones like Sonic 06 and Unleashed. That poor SEGA needs to fix the problem with Sonic series.

Moving on Sonic Colors Wii Review for now.

Sonic Colors Wii Review

Sonic Colors is a 3D platform for Nintendo Wii. SEGA have brought the improvements of gameplay, graphics, level stages and storyplot. The story about Sonic and Tails met a cute little aliens known as Wisps are asking them to help to save their homes from evil Dr Robotnik who captures all the Wisps and planning to take over the planet. You're playing as Sonic to save a planet to face his nemesis Dr Robotnik. The single player has a 7 worlds stages with 7 act each. The gameplay is far improved than the predecessor. The controls schemes is balanced well with uses of classic controller and gamecube controller. The power ups is great for characters abilities when using the Wisps power ups in each stages. There are some levels is quite too short when finishing levels in under 2 mins and some levels can be too difficult as well but they all good stages that I like such as Planet Wisps, Tropical Resort, Sweet Mountain and Asteroid Coaster which I found so enjoyable with challenging levels. The graphics is look nicer with colorful themes, textures and brighter design is look gorgeous on this game. The music and sound is mixed bag. The soundtrack is ok'ay on title screen and gameplay stages except the 2 crappy songs on intro video and ending credits made by Cash Cash which is definitely the worst song that I hate it. The sound effects is good and the voice acting is not that bad but it was'nt just sound good as the previous cast. The special features did have game land area which you can play a mini games including 2 players battle and Sonic simulator to receive chaos emeralds which is a good thing about this game.

Advantages:-

Improved gameplay makes this game more playable with the uses of Wii classic controller and Nintendo Gamecube controller.

The story is quite sound decent than the predecessor.

Colorful and brightest graphics.

Game land area is fun to play with. 

Disadvantages:-

Some of the levels can be too short when finishing under 2 mins in one stage.

Some of the levels can be little too difficult. 

2 of the soundtrack like ''Reach for the stars'' and ''Speak with your heart'' is completely most annoying song in the game.

This game is only exclusively on Nintendo Wii and DS which this game supposed to came on PS3 and X360 instead.

  

Final Verdict

Can SEGA deserves the best of this game, here is my bottom line.

Gameplay - 8/10 - Great controls, good levels stages and awesome power-ups what makes this game a playable as ever.

Graphics - 8/10 - Colorful, Brightful and gorgeous looking games with nice visuals and great 3D animation physics. 

Music and Sound - 6/10 - Soundtrack are better on title screen and levels except the 2 annoying song on intro and ending. Sound effects is good and voice acting need a bit of improved work.        

Special Features - 7/10 - This game offers the game land area which has a mini games including 2 players battle and Sonic simulator to receive chaos emeralds which is nice effort to enjoy with.

Overall 8/10 - Sonic Colors is yet to be a greatest Sonic's games with enjoyable adventures on Wii. This is most recommended game to buy this. SEGA have deserves to make a Sonic's games back for good once again. So gamers just pick up the controller, play the game and you will enjoy it.

Bulletstorm PS3 Digital Download Review

Bulletstorm is a action packed sci-fi shooter created by Epic Games teaming up with People Can Fly and published by Electronic Arts. The story take place in 26th century. Grayson Hunt is a lead members of Dead Echo following General Serrano's mission who order him and his crew to kill Bryce Novak which later discovered that he is a civilian reporter was killed by Dead Echo teams which they realised got fooled by General Serrano wanted to put Grayson and his teams into a troubles. Moving on single player campaign. It has a 7 acts with 3 or 4 chapters each to complete. you get to play as Grayson Hunt teaming up with Ishi Sato who fatally wounded after the ship got crashed and got rushed to the medical room forcing to recover him which he became the cyborg human and Trishka the female survivor who seeks the revenge to kill Serrano over her father's death. The gameplay are excellent. The weapons are fairly balanced which is good for range and accuracy. you may also perform skillshot which you can shoot enemy in midair when attempting the enemy flying by using melee attack or yank it with energy leash. you can upgrade the weapons from the dropkit which you can add bullets, more limited of ammunition and change any weapons that you wanted to choose. The controls is great for character movements which you can able to sprint through the gameplay levels and performing slide kick is quicker way to move faster even it's useful to attempt enemy flying is may also worked. The graphics is technically impressive with uses of Unreal engine. The animation is well designed comes with excellent visuals, great 3D models and great special effects to make a game a worth looking FPS game.The music and sound is great for soundtrack, sound effects and excellent voice acting. The special features comes with cooperatives online muiltiplayer and 2 DLC to download a extra maps, missions and additional trophies.

Advantages:-

The story cutscenes can be funny with great sense of humour what makes the characters so good about.

Epic action fight in gameplay.

The boss fight is fun as ever.

Remote control dinosaur is a badass moments in this game.

Disadvantages:-

It took 10 seconds to kill bad guys when shooting them.

You may also having a little bit trouble hosting the online play.

Here is my final verdict of this game and will this game deserves it.

Gameplay 9/10 - Excellent game controls and great combat gameplay.

Graphics 8/10 - Excellent visuals, great animation and special effects are impressive.

Top 10 Worst Nintendo Mistakes

I like Nintendo since my childhood in the past and playing some great classics like Mario, Zelda and Metroid for SNES, N64 and others.

Sometimes Nintendo did a lot mistakes between the past and the current year that they didn't get the ideas right. Sometimes it can be fail, but not so much, when it comes with the dumbest ideas without the getting the right things. Nintendo tried their best to get a point right that what they trying to do before correct it.

Here is a Top 10 Worst Nintendo Mistakes.

10 - N64 Cartridge

Nintendo 64 is a great console classic on Fifth Generation with tons of good games to play with, but there is a problem, when it comes with game cartridge that Nintendo just focus on. 

Game cartridge is completely outdated for these days in 1996. N64 cartridge can be useful for less load times and built in save data, but it useless for limitations of ROM sizes, which means it can't hold the whole games as CD Roms do since Square trying the best to developing Final Fantasy 7, which suppose to come N64, but Square is moving on PSX instead because of CD-ROM has a 700 MB, while N64 cart has 64 MB. I've played the good fighting games on N64 like Killer Instinct Gold is much faithful to arcade version, but the graphics isn't strong enough to handle is because of the limitations of N64 cartridge.The Cruis'n USA had a same problem too, which N64 can't handle the arcade version, which later becoming most panned N64 racing games in 1996. Nintendo is also made a N64 DD for N64 add ons, which became unsuccessful in Japan and never got released at USA and UK. Cartridge is not worth to developing and look like Nintendo learned their lesson to move on CD base, which later made a Gamecube in 2001, finally.   

 9 - Shitty Wiiware games library

I never get a chance to have a good games here. Wiiware is just pointless piece of shit with the choice of all the shitty games library they got is not worth to buy it because it's completely worse than the PSN and XBLA games did have a better games than this crap. It's better to stick with Virtual Console with all the awesome classics games on Wii. I'm sure that won't do the same thing on upcoming new console Wii U, is it gonna be more shitter than before?, who knows.

8 - NES Accessories 

There are so many useless NES peripherals they got. NES Zapper is unresponsive to shoot because it felt so broken and not responding well for some games. Power gloves is useless for motion controls because it didn't do anything at all and finally R.O.B the robot is damn slow and sluggish as a game controller. All these NES accessories are just plays like a baby's toys. It's better to stick with normal controller, instead of using the crappy peripherals.

7 - 3DS right circle pad add on's

Why the hell Nintendo came up with this shit. Nintendo have no idea why they never put a right circle pad on the actual handheld system instead of having a add on, which attached to 3DS to make look like a big joke. It feels uncomfortable to hold because of the size of the add ons is damn too big. The design of the add ons is terrible. If the 3DS XL is already came out but why did they have a same layout like a original model, what they were thinking? What will Nintendo is supposed to do is to add layouts, instead of add on attachments to handheld. Men it need to redesign the system again.

6 - Nintendo Skips SONY 

Nintendo was meant to announced a CD base add ons for SNES. First of all, Nintendo was asked to Philips to develop the CD base console, but got cancelled, due to Philips created their stand alone console CD-i came in 1992. In 1993, Nintendo and SONY still continuing developing the CD console. in 1994, when Nintendo and SONY having a breakdown and then having refuse to make a SNES CD, which later becomes a Playstation made by SONY. Nintendo had a hard time to make a CD base consoles, which instead focusing on cartridges. Too bad SNES CD wasn't made, but I still like the Nintendo and the Playstation. 

5 - Nintendo Wii U have region locked.

God dammit, I never get a chance to play any Japanese or USA exclusives games that never came on our country. Region locked is to prevent stop gamers playing a import games, which is f-ing stupid. Having a region locked is bullshit, which is unfair to all gamers, who wanted to play games that never came out on their home country. If you brought a games from Japan, then you place the disk on PAL or NTSC-U consoles and then suddenly the error message comes on screen, what a epic failure that was. I wanted to play a japanese games dammit.  

4 - Virtual boy 

One of the Nintendo portable console failures are Virtual Boy is a first portable system that features with 3D graphics comes with black and red color schemes and 2 dimensional screen that you look through the portable system to squeeze your eye on both screen to make a 3D virtual reality. It may causes a eye strain, which blinds your eye sight and having repetitive strain injury on your neck, which became so stiff and hard to move. The controller is poorly designed with battery pack on back of it which causes to lose out the battery pack and accidently turned off itself. There are only 15 games available, due to failures of the virtual boy. Gunpei Yokoi left Nintendo in year 1996 and began worked with Bandai to develop the handheld console Wonderswan. Bottom line, Virtual Boy sucks and considered to be worst portable system in 1996.

3 -  Nintendo Games on CD-i

   

F-up CDi comes with f-up Nintendo games. Philips CD-i is a biggest ultimate failures ever created. So Philips and Nintendo have rights to developed the 4 crappy games that destroys the both great franchise. Hotel Mario came with crappy stages that you just to close the door, which nothing plays like a actual platforming games. There is a 3 crappy Zelda games here with cheesy cutscenes, poorly plot and shitty gameplay made. However, it went became a internet memes is because of the cheesy cutscenes is finding to funny and weird. So it's better to stick with a proper Mario and Zelda games on Nintendo exclusive console and lets forget the CD-i shit because it's insults to our 2 favourites franchises, Damn you CD-i.

2 - Censorship

Nintendo of America won't allow the game to be show a adult content such as Adult themes, levels of violence, drugs and alcohol and strong languages that the parents adviced to children not to play 18 and over. Censorship coming to spoil the great games like Mortal Kombat which the blood got removed from the SNES version, which became a huge disappointment to Midway's fans and poorly sold compared to SEGA Genesis version did better than the SNES version. There are some of the game like Wolfenstein came on SNES, which the Nazi themes got removed and the dog was replace by rat instead. Duke Nukem 64 has a lot of censorship, due to concern of original game has too many adult themes. Final Fight on SNES removed the female characters like poison and roxy which got replace to Billy and Sid, due to it's violence against woman.

Lot of gamers getting really pissed when Nintendo describing as kiddy's consoles, but that doesn't seem to be right. Nintendo is not supposed to censor the great games that we got it for SNES and N64. Fans is point out at Nintendo is to stop f-ing the game up please.   

1 - Rare left Nintendo

I miss Rare as a greatest Nintendo developers of all time. Rare made a such a superb games like Battletoads, Donkey Kong, Banjo Kazooie, Conker Bad Fur Day, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark and Killer Instinct. I can't believe they leaving Nintendo since Microsoft owned Rare in 2003 to support the exclusive xbox games. It's gone crap for now days that Microsoft come to spoil and kills the greatest developer of all time. We wanted to bring Rare back the way it came from to make a games that we wanted to bring back a great classics to be back again. Nintendo, you need to bring Rare back for good, once again.  

     

    

God of War 3 PS3 Review

I love the God of war series is the God of video gaming in history. I have review the God of war collection Vol 1 last year which has a 2 original PS2 games such as God of war 1 and 2 with remastered HD, runs 60 fps and trophy supports. I enjoyed the style of the hack n slash gameplay with challenging puzzles and epic boss fights. It has a great storyline and the characters such as Kratos considered to be most badass and manliest video game characters of all time. This is how the God of war series is one of my favourites hack n slash games so far. 

And now I'm here to review this game on PS3. God of war 3 take places in Ancient Greece. Kratos continues his revenge to fight the king of Olympian gods Zeus since Kratos got betrayed by Zeus for not obeying the Zeus orders. Kratos is finally reach to Palace to battle his main enemy Zeus untill he got thrown by Gaia to Underground. Kratos find his way to get to Zeus Palace once again.

The gameplay is plays outstanding with brilliant combat controls and combo movements. You may also upgrade the weapons and magic improvements. The puzzles is well challenging in the levels. The graphics is wonderful for characters design, levels, visuals animation and backgrounds & textures which has a best game design for PS3. The music is very atmospheric and sounds has a brilliant voice acting and sound effects. The special features conteins video cutscenes, making of God of war 3 videos, change costumes and challenging mode is plenty more enough to have. Sometimes this game can be confusing in the levels and boss fight can be difficult too.

So here is my final verdict of this game.

Gameplay 9.6/10 - Fantastic combat controls with awesome combos for weapons & magics. The puzzles levels is very challenging fun to play with.

Graphics 9.7/10 - Superb game design with outstanding visuals animation, characters design, levels and backgrounds & textures makes the best looking graphics on PS3.

       

Music and Sounds 10/10 - Music is atmospheric, fascinating voice acting and epic sound effect.

Special features 8.9/10 - Videos, costumes and challenging mode is plenty enough to have.

Downside - Levels is can be confusing.
Boss fights can be difficult too.

Overall 9.8/10 - This is the hack n slash masterpiece in gaming. This is must buy this cuz God of war series is a God of video gaming in history. God of war 3 is a fantastic sequels to fantastic originals PS2 games.

Top 10 Scroll Shooter games

Scroll shooting is fun to play. There are so many good games on arcades and consoles that we can spent time to enjoy ourselves over 3 hours that we can't stop playing a great space shooter games. So now I'm going to make a Top 10 Scroll Shooter games that will deserves the number 1 best in history.

10 - Space Invaders

One of the biggest hit on 1970's. Taito dominating the first scroll shooter brought to the arcades systems.
Space Invaders is a addicting fun that you go and shoot the aliens, ha ha ha sick, I love the aliens characters in the group moving left and right all the way down. So it is hard to finish the game off cuz you can't stop keep playing over and over again, damn it's good. Is any idea how many levels are there? Who knows, just play the damn thing and have enjoy.

9 - Zero Gunner

Zero Gunner is superb game but why this game only on arcade expect the first two came on Dreamcast.
It has a great gameplay with awesome power ups, turning helicopter while locking on, 4 mission levels and 2 player co-op. Well the first game is fun on the arcade and so with the second game on the Dreamcast but the bad news is? Its only on japan, damn it Psikyo, you could have brought it on western release.

8 - Aero Fighters 2

If you like a Neo Geo classics games, so you will like a Aero Fighters 2. Video System made a great sequel to a great original on SNES. So you get to play as 8 characters with 8 or 9 levels. It has a great power ups with large bombs, shoots big laser, ninja star and bunch of more crazy stuff to shoot with, which is pretty damn cool. So this game is so damn great until the crappy N64 sequel came to ruined the great series by Video System, Damn.

7 - R-Type Leo

R-Type series is such a classic scroll shooter in 80's. back in 90's, Irem brought the great space shooter on arcades is R-Types Leo that never came on consoles. Damn it, this game has a awesome stages and best power ups. Do you know what's good about this game? It has a 2 player co-ops that previous consoles games don't have one. The boss levels is surely challenging fun. Irem you made such a great games here.

6 - U.N Squadron

Remember the Capcom's classics on SNES. U.N Squadron is the epic fun scroll shooting games. You get to play as 3 awesome pilot such as Shin with cool hairstyle, Mickey the blonde dude and Greg the beard guy. The SNES version features the improvements from the arcade version such as new weapons, extra life, extra levels and etc. It definitely has a best music track in the game, which Capcom has a such a great composer.
It considered to be hardest in the game but the only problem with the SNES version didn't have a 2 players co-op, WHAT!.

 
5 - Silpheed

We know the failures of SEGA CD lifespan in 1994, but not lot of SEGA CD games are bad, but there are some of the good ones. I've just found a another good SEGA CD games, which is a remade of classic PC space shooter Silpheed. Game Arts offers the great features for SEGA CD such as 3D polygon, which rendered the quality of the graphics. It definitely have a most epic soundtrack in the game, which makes the best music on SEGA CD. It has a challenging boss levels, which is seems fun to play. If you never played the Silpheed, which means you don't have a SEGA CD unless you own a SEGA Genesis or get it on emulator instead.

4 - Radiant Silvergun

Radiant Silvergun is badass. One of the Treasure's cult classics came on SEGA Saturn Japanese exclusives just before it came on worldwide for XBLA. So the gameplay has a unique controls to press two button together to shoot the different types of weapons with different directions which is quite kicking ass. 2 player co-op is considered to be fun to complete with your friends for help. The boss levels is just hard as hell this is why it so challenging fun. If you like a Treasure's games, you will like this.

3 - Ikaruga

    

















It's like Radiant Silvergun, but different space shooter. You got one weapon, change shields and 5 difficult levels = Awesome. Ikaruga is a deadly challenged space shooter with too many enemies shoots, so many bullets to avoid, and features with dangerous hazards in the stages. Damn it's so hard to complete, but thank god it has a 2 player co-op, which is no problem. It has a best graphics in the game with excellent visuals and animation design. The music is considered to be best soundtrack in the game. So this game is definitely must buy this.

2 - Gradius Gaiden

Konami, why the hell this game only releases in japan. This is one of my favourites Gradius games on PSX.
You can able to edit the power ups settings, which is promising enough to make the game more accurate and fun and it features with 2 player co-op that you don't need to have take turns like on previous games. The gameplay is fun with new style features power ups, epic stages and epic boss fights. The graphics is colorful for beautiful game design. Konami, just bring it on PSN will ya, fans needs it.

1 - Raiden: Viper Phase

 



















Seibu Kaihatsu made a Raiden series a masterpiece of the scroll shooter goes to Viper Phase only on arcade. This is definitely must play this, when you own mame 32 emulator. It has a huge power ups with so many bullets to shoot the crap of the enemies. The levels is awesome as ever with awesome boss fights and the thing like about the co-op is having a same weapons with too many bullets is mad as hell, yeah that's kick ass. It has a superb soundtrack, which makes a perfect soundtrack in the game. Why not play this shall we?.   

Resistance 3 PS3 Review

I've just enjoyed the previous Resistance games since when I got a PS3 for my birthday last year. The first game is one of the most exciting FPS for PS3 with some of the great characters, levels, weapons and story concepts. It has a fantastic gameplay for campaign which has a lot of Sci-Fi action and muiltiplayer was great too which I enjoyed my experience during the online play. I also like the first two as well when it comes with new weapons, characters and levels but it's not just good as the first ones but has a great online muiltiplayer with 60 players which makes the biggest online muiltiplayer for PS3. So what about the sequel, here it is.

Insomniac Games made a Resistance 3 right just before they made a last game for PSVita. I have no idea why the game developers are not making another Resistance games anymore. These games are fricken good as hell but why not making another game. Ok'ay moving on review now. This game is sequel to second game. The story starts after the second game when Joseph Capelli just killed the main character Nathan Hale who been affected by chimera virus. in 2 years later, Joseph and the survivors are still continues to fight the chimerian groups who are attacking the human being to take over the U.S.A and the world. I felt the story is sounds quite decent with characters plot and the cutscenes. I thought the character Joseph Capelli was meant to be sadistic and rude person in Resistance 2 but why his attitude turns quiet for now in this game. This game features 20 chapters in campaign including co-op mode. It has a 32 players in online muiltiplayer but you have to purchase the network pass to play online which is disappointment me, PSN supposed to be a free to play not a fricken pay to play online, what they were thinking?. moving on the gameplay, the game controls is played decent for characters movements. The weapons is great for shooting range and performance. You may able to carry all weapons which you don't have to swap and drop weapons like on second game. The characters health is definitely weak compared to second game has a regenerates health but on this game, you have to pick up the health pack to increase your health status, that was pathetic, you may end up getting killed easily in some levels. The level stages is'nt that difficult to find, it has a destination maker that tells you where to go, sometimes chimerian monsters can be too difficult to kill because those bastards are friggin too strong and tried to gets me ass kicked. The graphics are great too with characters design, levels backgrounds and visuals animation. The music is sounds epic, has a great sound effects and the voice acting is quite decent too for characters. The special features has unlockables stuff like cheats, video, gallery and other stuff to unlock which is plenty good enough to have. here is my bottom line of this game and let see how the game was going.

Gameplay 7.1/10 - Decent controls for movements with great weapons performance.

Graphics 8/10 - Great animation for characters and levels.

Music and sounds 7.7/10 - Epic music, great sound effect and decent voice work for characters.

Special features 8/10 - Plenty more to unlock the stuff has a great features to choose with.

Downside - Characters health is weaker compared to previous game.
Chimerian monsters can be repetitive to kill.
Why I need to use Network pass access to play online, it meant to be free to play.

Overall 7.7/10 - Resistance 3 is still a good game even it's with difficulty. It has a great levels and weapons in campaign mode and some epic moments in the game, I'm sure the online muiltiplayer can be enjoyable too. so I say buy it.
              

Bayonetta PS3 Review

Platinum Games brought the SEGA's hack and slash action to the PS3 and X360. It was made by same director Hideki Kamiya who is the former Capcom's employee's and he is known creator for original Devil may cry who wanted to make a game that similar to his previous title. Bayonetta is a fast paced witch with badass double gun to shoot the crap of the evil angels. The story started happened after the 500 years, Bayonetta was revived 20 years ago which she has no memories in her past while she continues to fight the evil within. I say the characters are funny as hell, Luka has a lot of sense of humor and Bayonetta can be funny too when it comes with some of the cutscenes. The gameplay is outstanding for combat moves with awesome combos and some of techniques moves. The level puzzles is quite easy to solve the problem too and it has a epic boss fight in the game concidered to be one of the best boss fights seen so far, you may also go to gates of hell to upgrades your moves and weapons but you can buy items too, it helps the game played well done. The graphics has nice character design and stages but the problem was the color was look duller compared to X360 has a cleaner and glossy looking game was quite look better but just give a PS3 more credit for game design. The music and sounds is quite catchy for Japanese upbeat music, the voice acting is fitted well for characters and the sound effects is sounds very good. I say the special features is'nt enough, only has a gallery to unlock, can't they bring more than that. Sometimes the frame rate issue has a little bit problem in some of the chapters. It is annoying with the load times took a 30 sec to begin the game for PS3 version due to limited of the system compared to X360 has a better load times which only can take a 5 second to start the game, unless PS3 will get a free patch to install the game data which helps to reduce the load times which is no problem at all. So what can I say about this game, here is my bottom line.

Gameplay 9/10 - It has outstanding controls for combat system for combos and techniques moves.

Graphics 8/10 - Well it did a good job for PS3 version to make a nice characters design and stages but in my opinions, X360 has a better color and glossy looking game.

Music and Sounds 7.5/10 - It has a catchy Japanese music, great voice acting and very good sound effects.

Special Features 5.5/10 - Ummm only has a gallery to unlock, more please anybody.

Downside - PS3 gets problems with load times unless get a free patch to reduce the problems or get a X360 instead.
Frame rates is little bit slow down in some of the levels but not so much.

Overall 8/10 - Bayonetta is a good game, even the some of the flaws for PS3 version. If you have a PS3, buy this or if you hate the load times, get a X360 version instead.    

Top 10 Nintendo Gamecube games

As you know that Nintendo is finally made their first CD base console on Sixth generations.
Nintendo Gamecube has a great games out there with some of the great exclusives features.
It was completing with their rivals such as PS2 and Xbox did came out in 2002.
Now I'm going to make a top 10 Nintendo Gamecube games that will deserves the best on the list.


10 - Super Monkey Ball

SEGA made a best mini games for gamecube. Super Monkey Ball has a awesome main levels with crazy puzzles stages and 6 party games like race, target, fight, billiards, golf and bowling with muiltiplayer fun for families and friends. It has a great characters in the game like Aiai, Mee-Mee, Gongon and the cute little baby white monkey wants to come out and play with inside the ball. So this game was great and you will like the second one too.

9 - Timesplitters 2

If you like the N64 classics like Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark, maybe you will like kind of the game like this. Timesplitters 2 are excellent FPS game comes with story modes, challenge modes, muiltiplayer battles and plenty more stuff to enjoy. well the game does play like the Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark as you know the former Rare's teams who worked with N64 games before they left the company in 2000.
So why not give a try for this game shall we.

8 - Starfox Adventures

Oh yeah. one of the most underrated RPG games for gamecube. This is one of the Rare's last game to make before the company left Nintendo's job. Starfox Adventures isn't a flight shooter like the previous games, It's a open world adventures with RPG elements. Fox Mccloud discovers the new planet to investigates and save a planet and hot female fox Krystal from a Scales troops. It pretty much close to Zelda series with Star Wars inspirations that you go explore a new place and fight the bad guys out and collect the important items that would solves the world problems. After this game in 2002, Too bad the sequel (Starfox Assault) went disappointing when the game release in 2005, poor Fox Mccloud, It would have be better with flight shooter instead of doing something different.

7 - Soul Calibur 2

I love the original Soul Calibur on SEGA Dreamcast and would I like a second one, yes it is.
The reason why I like this game, it's comes with awesome gameplay with new techniques moves, newer graphics and more features. The good thing about this game, It has a character Link from Legend of Zelda for Nintendo exclusives only, woh hoh hell yeah, that would be fun having a Nintendo characters on this game. so Namco made a great sequel to great original. If you want to play as Link, you must get yourself a Gamecube with you.

6 - Viewiful Joe

This game is viewiful as ever. Viewiful Joe is a Beat em ups action that you go beat the shit of the bad guys with awesome slow motion and superb fast forwarding with cool combos moves. So Joe got trap inside the movie and battle to fight the evil ones who kidnaps the girlfriend Silvia who needs a hero is Viewiful Joe to come and rescue her. I love that game when it comes with unique gameplay and colorful comic book graphics with cool storyline plot. This game is must play it on Gamecube and enjoy playing this game.


5 - Super Mario Sunshine

I like the Mario series. Super Mario Sunshine is a great 3D platformer for gamecube and successor to N64 classics Super Mario 64. Mario has to clean up the cities and save the Princess Peach from the evil bowser again and again, here we go. It has a excellent levels with puzzles and collects star shine to restore the cities.
finding secrets somewhere in the stages would be fun to explore. having a great power ups for using a water tank machine fludd that shoots the water, wow thats cool. If you are a fan of Mario series, you will like this game too.

4 - Legend of Zelda: Windwaker

As you know the Legend of Zelda: Windwaker is one of the memorable RPG for gamecube. Link sets his quest to explore the new world and fight the evil Ganondorf once again. it has a colorful graphics for characters design and open world levels. The gameplay plays great for basic combat and items to use. The puzzles in the game is challenging as ever. If you want to play a great RPG games, try this game out.

3 - Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

One of the epic FPS adventures for gamecube. I like a original game and so with this. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes comes with new storyline plot with Samus's new quest. The gameplay was great with new power ups weapons, puzzles stages and epic boss fights. The mulitiplayer was fun to play with 4 players battle. I suggest you to play this because you like playing FPS games.


2 - Resident Evil 4

One of my all time favourite Resident Evil games in history. It's not just a Survivor Horror game, it's a action horror game with newer gameplay turns third person dimensions and outstanding graphics engines with awesome 3D models which makes a best horror game ever made. Leon Scott Kennedy sets his quest in europe after the 6 years later with umbrella incident. his mission to save a President Daughter Ashley Graham the annoying bitch (Which I already put in Top 10 Most Annoying Video Game characters in History since 3 or 4 months ago) who can't stop screaming already with the troubles of scary zombies with axe, long pitchfork, knifes and chainsaw massacre. It has a excellent gameplay for shooting range and weapons and the realistic graphics which makes the game look fantastic with character design and rendered engines. It concidered to be most popular and best selling horror game in history due to likes of fans and critics praises the style of the game. HEY! stop keep playing too much Gears of War series, all you wanted to play a great classic horror game like this. Resident Evil 4 is a King of Third Person Shooter games, Manly.


1 - Super Smash Bros Melee

Yeahhhhhhh I love this fighting game. Super Smash Bros Melee has a epic adventures mode, Classic modes, all star modes, training modes, survival modes and muiltiplayer modes, wow that's awesome. It has a new items such as weapons and power ups which is cool. New stages and Characters roster, wow that even awesome. It has a great Nintendo music from the Nintendo franchises, AHH I love the Nintendo music. The gameplay is epic as hell to kick anybody asses with combo moves and stages hazards to throw the opponent out the screen, THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!!! This got to be best fighting on Gamecube. This is got to be must play this since childhood. Wow I love the Nintendo games out there.
