Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed PS3 Reviews

Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed is the racing game for mulitiplatform consoles, developed by Sumo Digital and published by SEGA.
It is the sequel to Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing, was released in 2010 and it's pretty damn good game, with SEGA characters, unique racing tracks and arcade style gameplay is what you call a true Sonic racing game.
What the sequel has to offer on the game? It brought more variety of the racing vehicles, wacky tracks, world tour mode with tons of racing battles and mini games, some new modes for mulitiplayer, changing mods for vehicles, and more unlockable characters roster that SEGA can do on the game.
This game features grand prix mode, world tour mode, mulitiplayer mode, single race mode, and time attack mode.
The gameplay plays very good for handling controls, which moves the vehicles very smooth for drifting controls and easy to steer is feels pretty straightforward for Sonic racing games. Your character's vehicles can perform boost speed, while you using drifting. Like Diddy Kong Racing that you can select different types of vehicles individuality on the character selection screens, which your game can't select the vehicles individuality on character selection, your vehicles normally can able to transforms automatically to a 3 different types of vehicles, like cars, planes and boat, depends the levels started to change the tracks or what tracks you on the match. I really like riding on the planes and the boat are the coolest thing in the game.
You can perform stunt tricks, while you're on the air will give you a extra boost speed, if you landed on the track by the right timing. You can choose different mods for your suitable vehicles specifications, like handling, speed, accelerator and driving controls, which allows you to play better on the matches.
You can use items, which can be found on the road tracks. the items such as snowball, fireworks rocket, tornado twist, remote control detonator, and blowfish are great for attacking opponents on the match, along with other items, like auto boost is good for use of speed and baseball glove, which allows you to deflect the incoming items attack from getting hit by the opponent.
I also enjoyed the mini games, like boost challenge, drift challenge, traffic challenge, and battle rivals are very fun to play because it's gives the game more challenging.
The graphics in the game are quite impressive with great visuals, cartoony animation and very colorful details to keep the game look amazing for Sonic racing games. It does have bit slowdowns for backgrounds and textures is not that the problem in the game, but it's still look pretty amazing.
The music and sounds has really good music from classy SEGA franchises, decent sound effect for atmosphere and backgrounds. It does have some good voice over for characters in the game.
The special features offers the downloadable content, and unlockable characters and stages are the great choices for this game.
