Ducktales: Remastered is the 2D Adventure-Platforming game for PS3, X360, Wii U and PC, Developed by Wayforward Technologies, and Published by Disney Interactive Studios and Capcom.
It is a remake of the original NES title, that this game is plays like the original, but with tons of improvements for this game. It added more variety of the game is featuring more presentation with story developments and featuring original voice cast from the TV series, colorful 2D graphics with hand-drawn characters models and 3D modeled levels, better gameplay with easy pogo jump, map screen for easier difficulties, 2 extra levels are introduced for this game, and finally you get to unlock stuff from gallery options.
This game follows the same story as the original NES, but it added more storytelling for the cutscenes. It's about Scrooge Mcduck set his adventure by traveling around the world to collecting treasures and outwitting his rival Flintheart Glomgold to become world's richest duck.
I really liked the story in the game. It brings up very good presentation of the story development with great characters, extending more plots and some funny moments in the cutscenes is what makes "Ducktales" so interesting to watch.
The gameplay is plays very good for the player's controls. Your character have abillity to jump by using pogo sticks is very useful, which lets you jump multiples times, but you can jump on enemies, objects, and hazards by using pogo stick. You can also hit objects by swinging the pogo sticks like a golf club sticks. The levels are pretty amazing for 2D platform games because I really like finding secret places in the levels, collecting treasures, and some important items are fits the purpose of the game. I really enjoyed the boss battles because it's makes the game more challenged and fun to play. You can select the choices of the memorable levels from the original game, such as Amazon, Himalayas, African Mines, Transylvania, and of course the Moon is one of the best level in the game. What I like about the game is going inside the money bin area, where you can swim around the money coins for fun are the coolest thing in the game.
The graphics is looking fantastic with great hand-drawn characters, smooth animation, some decent visuals and colorful details are just like the TV series. It's by far one of the most outstanding graphics that brings the wonderful presentation for the game.
The music and sounds has really catchy theme music and the 8-bit style for most of the levels are quite sounds awesome. It has superb sound effects with modern 8-bit atmosphere and I say the original voice cast from the original TV show did a spectacular job for most of the characters, which really makes the game well done.
The special features has unlockable stuff from gallery, and 2 extra levels that has introduction and final boss levels are the great features for the game.
