Top 5 Midway Games

Midway games is an awesome video game companies in 80's to 2000's. They are big known for vintage arcade games and pinball machines that created their legacy. We have fighting games, shooting games, sports games and many of the game genres that Midway made really great games on arcade cabinet and console gaming back in the old days. Too bad Midway have been shut down since 2009, due to chapter 11 bankruptcy, but we all always remember this company brought us a brilliant games on gaming generations.

Here is my Top 5 Midway Games that I really liked on my list. 

5 - Sinistar

Sinistar is the vertical scroll shooter games, developed by Williams Electronics. It's very known for big nemesis himself Sinistar is a big spacecraft villains that is been built by enemies worker ships. It has a cool catchphrases in entire games, like he says "Beware I live", "Beware coward", "I hunger", "Run Run Run", "I am Sinistar" and his badass roaring chant, what makes Sinistar an awesome villain in video game. So you are playing as the spaceship has the mission to defeat Sinistar by using Sinibombs that can be found on asteroids rock. I've enjoyed playing this game, when I've played it on SNES version as part of the William's Arcade Greatest Hits, because I like gaining the high scores and moving on the next challenge what makes the game more interesting. If you're a fan of the scroll shooter games like this, then you should pick up for the console versions.


4 - Defender

This game is the golden age of 80's gaming. Defender is a top notch horizontal scroll shooter is also developed by Williams Electronics. It becoming very popular in 1980's that defines the shooter genre and it sold very well for the arcade version. What I like about the game is where you just shoot the crap of the alien's ship to save the humans in the planet. You can gain more high scores and moving on next wave to make the game more challenged and fun to play.
It has brilliant graphics with excellent 2D colorful effects and it has the best sounds atmosphere in gaming history. It is very addicting to play, which took us to play more than the hours on console version. If you wanted to play this, then grab the game for console version.


3 - Midway Sports Games

I love playing arcade sports games. Midway really knows how to make a fantastic sport games brought on home consoles. It has a tons of choices to play, like Arch Rivals, NBA Jam, NBA on NBC Showtime, NFL Blitz 2000 and 01, and NHL Hitz 2002 are the best of all in the sports games genres. Instead of making a game look realistic, we all need a fun packed sports games that plays like a real arcade games, which makes the game more entertaining to play. I've played the Midway sports games lot of time since I've first started played NBA on NBC Showtime for SEGA Dreamcast and NHL Hitz 2002 on Nintendo Gamecube are really makes me wanna play more and more. If you're into the sports games, then you should try them on home consoles.



2 - Smash TV

Oh yeah, Smash TV is the Running Man of top down shooter games. You're playing as two badass contestants has the mission to survive through deadliest game show arena and win the prizes, yeah that's what game is about. This game is so much fun on the arcade with twin joystick, where you can shoot on any direction makes the controls so precised and balanced. You just shoot tons of bad guys with cool power ups, and collecting money and prizes from bonus level. The game is later coming out on home consoles and many fans and critics believe that the SNES version is the best ported game on the system, due to SNES controls layout are far similar methods as the arcade twin joystick. So if you like mulitidirectional shooter, then go pick this game for SNES.



1 - Mortal Kombat

MORTAL KOMBAT!!! is the bloodiest fighting games on the series. The arcade version was released in 1992 and gained many more attention to fighting games fans alike. While the game have becoming popular on the arcade version, the game is later ported to the home consoles, like SNES and SEGA Genesis. Many gamers said that SEGA Genesis are the only one of the decent arcade to console conversions, due to featuring blood content and more fatalities than the SNES version. This game features a memorable characters, like Kano, Liu Kang, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub Zero and Sonya Blade are taking part in the bloodiest tournament. It is famous for having digitized characters and bloody graphics while performing fatalities moves are also becoming the most controversial video game of the decides. So if you like the goriest games like this game, then you should go pick up for SEGA Genesis version or PSN and XBLA version as the part of the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection.  

Top 5 Cheat Codes in Gaming History

Using cheat codes might be very smart for cheaters. There are lot of games that has the cheat codes, which allows you to win the game by cheating for the reasons. It gives you a cool choices of having infinity ammo, invincibility modes, unlockable content, level select and etc that the game contains a codes that allows you to cheat instead of doing the game properly without using cheats codes. So here is my "Top 5 Cheat Codes in Gaming History" that became most nostalgic cheat codes of all times.


5 - Revenge of Shinobi - Infinity Shurikens

Revenge of Shinobi is the classic 2D Hack 'N' Slash for SEGA Genesis. What I like about the game is having the infinity shurikens may be quite an good idea to beat the enemies and boss easier without making the game harder. This will guarantee the casual gamers to have an great experience to beat the game very fast without running out the shurikens. All you have to do is go to options menu and change the shurikens into zero and wait until its turn into the infinity logo. So get your shurikens ready ninjas.


4 -  Doom - Weapons, Keys, Ammo and God mode

Doom is one of my childhood favourite FPS game on PC. So I've typed the codes in during the gameplay and got everything I needed for this game is Weapons, Keys, Ammo and mighty GOD MODE!!!!!!!!!
Hell yeah, I can kick all these monster ass for fun with my mighty power, even my Big F-ing Gun 9000.
This is one of my favourite cheats code on this game. You just type IDKFA for Weapons, Keys and Ammo and type IDDQD for God Mode, which you won't get damaged hit by the enemies. So you should try it on this game and beat the game on Ultra Violence.


3 -  Mortal Kombat - Blood Codes

Mortal Kombat is the bloodiest fighting games in 90's. I'm very disappointed that SNES version have removed the blood to piss off the Midway fans, since they enjoyed it on the Arcade version with no problems at all.
The genesis version has the blood, which you need the codes to use the blood mode for actual gameplay.
It gives you the blood effects and more fatalities moves is what the game should be like on console versions, except SNES. On the grey screen, you have to press ABACABB to activate the blood mode. So thanks to Genesis version for the blood codes, which makes me want to enjoy my gaming experience. This is why Genesis does what Nintendon't.


2 - Sonic 2 - Level Select

  

Oh yeah, Sonic 2 is my favourite Sonic games on SEGA Genesis. I love how the Sonic games has the level select since the first Sonic games. On this game, this will gives you a choice of levels that you wanted to play on without having to start the game all over again. So you just go to options menu and use the correct numbers on sound test by using this codes here 19,65,09,17 and then go back to title screen and hold the A button and press start button to take you on level select, YAYYYY!!! I get to play any levels I want too.
This is why I love the cheat codes on Sonic games.


1 - Contra - 30 lives

Contra is an awesome Run 'N' Gun by Konami, but the game is damn freaking hard! unless I can beat the game by using Konami Codes, which gives me an 30 lives remaining. So thanks to Konami Codes helps the gamers to beat the game very easy and simple without having less lives to make it more challenging. On title screen, you have to press the correct button on the controller by pressing UP,UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A and then press start to increase lives. So this got to be best cheats codes ever made by Konami.

Tomb Raider PS3 Digital Download Review

Before I review this game, I'm going to talk about the history of the Tomb Raider series.

History of Tomb Raider series

In 1996, Core Design brought the first 3D adventure games called Tomb Raider for PS1, Saturn and PC. It is the 3D platform adventure games with puzzle solving, unique levels, searching treasures, and jumping on ledges that defines the game genres. It considered to be best 3D platform adventures ever made on fifth generation console. The character Lara Croft is the most memorable female characters that caught gamers attention. It sold 7 millions copies worldwide becoming the bestseller. With the success of the original game, it is later making the sequel, such as Tomb Raider 2, 3, The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, right just before the second era just started 2006, when Core Design decided to close the studio down and sell the franchise to Crystal Dynamics to take over the series. The second era has Tomb Raider: Legend, which is meant to be an improved sequel over the previous games. It receives positive reviews by calling it greatest games sequel in franchises. It is later making the remake called Tomb Raider: Anniversary as the part of the remade original game with better graphics, precised gameplay and very challenged puzzle solving. Tomb Raider: Underworld released on 2007 did have an positive reviews, but it's not just good as the Legends, but still an decent game for Seventh generation consoles. 5 years later, the third era was made and brought the reboot simply called Tomb Raider is completely different game with new storyplot, new gameplay environment and including online multiplayer. It receives much critical acclaim reviews by critics calling it best Tomb Raider games so far and best rebooted game on the series. So, lets do the review right now and see what I think about this game.    

Tomb Raider PS3 Digital Download Review

Tomb Raider is the action-adventures games for PS3, X360 and PC. It is also available on PS4 and XONE as definitive edition. It is developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. This game takes place in Yamatai, Japan. The story is about Lara Croft manage to escape from shipwrecked and ends up in island. Her mission is to save her friends and tries to escape from groups of savage mens. 

I say the story is quite different from the previous games is about being more puzzle solving and more adventurous plot, but this game is about being mixed between action and survival games where the characters have to defend themselves from nasty groups of mens trying to threat and kidnapping innocent people in the island to make it more being survival instincts and some darker tones, which makes the story more interesting to watch cutscenes. The characters in the games are great. Lara Croft is still memorable characters, while rest others like Sam, Roth and others are the great supporting characters in the game.

I say the story and characters has amazing dialogue and plot to keep the game outstandingly entertained. 

This game has single player, online multiplayer and unlockable content on the main menu. 

The gameplay is pretty simple. It's very similar to Uncharted, but it has more exploration and survival mechanics. The controls for movement are pretty straightforward for climbing on the obstacles and jumping on the objects are done pretty well for character's movements. The combat gameplay plays really well with stealth combat where you can sneak behind on the enemies and using bow and arrow to silently kill enemies without making others to react. The weapons are quite good with pistols, machine guns, shotgun and bow and arrow are pretty worked very well, but you could also use axe as the melee attack is quite handy for the combat gameplay. You can upgrade your weapons and skills through camping to improve your character's abilities and weapons performance. It is also you can use fast travel to move different areas in the game are sounds pretty good idea for the gameplay. I say I never liked the QTE on this game where you have to press the correct button that appears on the screen are quite too fast, if you have to quickly press the right button to avoid the enemy's attacks. If you pressed the wrong button, then you're dead. 

The good thing about this is you can explore the whole level to mess around for fun and finding the treasures and items to collect stuff. I say the gameplay plays very good for character's movements, combat and great levels environment for some puzzle solving and exploring. I say the multiplayer is still fun to play, but it has some several glitches, but the multiplayer is still decent for the free for all, team deathmatch and cry for help. 

The graphics are look pretty amazing with fantastic character's models, great animations, superb special effects and incredible environment for backgrounds and smooth textures are by far the best looking graphics on multiplatform consoles.

The music and sounds has the best music score on this game that fits the mood of the game atmospheres. The sound effects has very rich background noise, atmospheric effects and awesome quality of the sound are by far the most perfect sounds ever made in this game.

The special features has unlockable stuff like artwork, trailers and behind the game video. It has DLC pack for multiplayer.

Here is my overall review.

Music and Sounds 10/10 - Fantastic music score, very rich background noise, atmospheric effects and awesome quality of the sound.

Special Features 9/10 - Unlockable stuff like artwork, trailers and behind the game video. It has DLC pack for multiplayer.


Overall 9.7/10 - Tomb Raider is by far the best game on the series. Crystal Dynamics took the step forward to make the game more realistic and most epic action-adventure games in history. To all the fan of Tomb Raider series, you should go pick this game up for PS3, X360 and PC. Those who owned the PS4 and XONE are new to this game, you should go pick definitive edition.

The Raid Blu Ray Review

Like I've reviewed most of the video games, but today, I decided to do a movie reviews as well and it is my first time reviewing the films for Blu Ray or DVD. 

The Raid (A.K.A The Raid: Redemption in US) is the indonesian action film released in 2011, which directed by Welsh directors Gareth Evans, who is best known for directing his first action film Merantau released in 2009.

This movie receives more positive reviews calling it one of the best action movies in indonesia that gains the people's attention. It's the fast paced martial arts with tons of ultra violence and some serious gun shooting what makes this movie an hardcore awesomeness. 

The movie takes place in Jakarta. The story is about officer Rama (played by Iko Uwais) and his teams are arriving at the building and has the mission to assassinate the drug boss Tama Riyadi (played by Ray Sahetapy), who owns the block and orders his reinforcements to fight the S.W.A.T teams under his protection. I say the story seems to be outstanding with fantastic storyplot, darker atmosphere and more of being survival and action. The characters in the movies are just awesome as hell. Rama just kicks everyone asses what's makes Iko Uwais a great martial art actors. I also like the whole villains in the movie are just how insane these people are with screaming and chanting during the fight scenes. I also like Yayan Ruhian did a amazing job playing as Mad Dog is one of the most badass villain in the movie. 

The atmosphere in the whole movie is just mind blowing awesomeness. I like how the special effects did really good job on gun shooting and fridge scenes is just look realistic and keeps the movie entertained.

I love the blood splatting effects on fight scenes where you see the people getting showered by bullets and stabbed by the axe or knife are so amazing to watch. The fight scenes is just kick ass. It's has the fast paced pencak silat style and aggressive fighting performance keep the movie so intense and fun.

I also like the music in the movie. It's mixed between electronic and ambient are much focused on cutscenes moods. It has brilliant soundtrack made by Joseph Trapanese, especially Mike Shinoda (Composer of Linkin Park) did a wonderful job on the music track that fits very well on the movie. The sound effects are great for backgrounds noise, gun shooting effects and the quality of sounds are superb for surround sound systems or home cinema sounds.

The special features has uncut version, trailers, audio commentary, video blogs, fan films made, featurettes, behind the music and an evening video.

Music and sounds 10/10 - Awesome music track and amazing sound effects.

Special Features 10/10 - It has uncut version, trailers, audio commentary, video blogs, fan films made, featurettes, behind the music and an evening video. 

Overall 10/10 - The Raid is one of the most masterpiece action movie of decide and by far the best indonesian movies ever made by Gareth Evans. I highly recommend to all action and martial arts movie fans to watch this and it's going to blow your mind with amazing action scenes and most intense story.

Soldner X2: Final Prototype PS3 Digital Download Review

Soldner X2: Final Prototype is the horizontal scroll shooter for PSN exclusive only, which developed by SideQuest Studios and published by Eastasiasoft. It is the sequel of the original game Soldner X: Himmelssturmer. This sequel may have an offer to bring a new features and gameplay improvements over the original game. This game has great emphasis on overall style with slightly changes for gameplay quality.

This game has 5 levels and 2 unlockable level, but the rest of 3 levels may be available as DLC pack. It has both single player and 2 player co-op for both arcade mode and challenge mode. You can select 2 choices of ship, which has different power ups and weapons. The gameplay is pretty straightforward for the controls and the overall abilities of ships. It moves very well with balanced ship control in the right speed. You have the choice of the weapons, depends what ship you are have chosen. Thor is the starfighter which shoots with bounce laser and scatter gun are pretty good for regular ship. Maxxus II is the bullfighter which shoots with bullet gun and magma cannon are more precise and useful ship than the Thor. You can get different weapons such as wave guns and spread laser are quite a good weapons to choose from. You can also use shock wave as the bomb and the limits to disappear all the enemies ships. You can collect all the power ups, which makes your weapons even more bigger and stronger to kill all the enemies ship. You can collect rings to increase your chain points, which gives you an items, such as health, mulitipoints, power ups and secret keys. The levels are quite very challenging with more fast paced shooter, tons of enemy's ships, so many bullets and hazards, which can be very fun to avoid hits and destroying enemies. 

The graphics in the game is looks amazing on high definition graphics. It has brilliant level design, rich looking colours and details, great special effects for backgrounds and textures, and superb animation performance are the most wonderful graphics details in this game.

The music and sounds has pretty decent electronic music thats fits the game atmospheres. The sounds effects has superb background noise and great sound quality are sounds perfect for surround sound equipment. 

The special features has unlockable stuff, like regular levels, challenge levels, weapons, credits and plenty more stuff, when you collect secret keys in the whole levels. You can download DLC pack called Last Chapter to reveal the true ending with 3 levels. You can check your online highscores and awards on the main options.

Graphics 9/10 - Brilliant level design, rich looking colours and details, great special effects for backgrounds and textures, and superb animation performance are the most wonderful graphics details in this game.    

Music and Sounds 8/10 - Decent music and great sounds.

Special Features 9/10 -  Unlockable stuff like levels, weapons, credits and more stuff to collect, downloadable DLC pack and extra features like awards and online highscore. 

Overall 9/10 - Soldner X2 is far more better than the original game. I highly recommended to play this game on PSN. This game has more potential to pleased all of the Shumps fans. It's has incredible levels, epic boss fights, superb gameplay overall and being more serious shooter games. If you like the scroll shooter games like Gradius and R-Type, then this game is for you to play it.

Bioshock Infinite PS3 Digital Download Review

Oh yes, Bioshock Infinite is the first person shooter, which developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K Games. If you're a huge fan of the Bioshock series since you've enjoyed the previous Bioshock games, you proberly might gets hands on with this game for PS3, X360 and PC. This gotta be the most intense and action packed FPS games on seventh generation consoles, that the developers wanted to make this game much different from the previous games. Irrational Games are best known developers behind System Shock 2 and original Bioshock are the both acclaimed games of all times. Ok'ay lets get the review started.

The story is nothing to do with the previous games, it's entirely a different storyplot with new characters and events. The story is about former Pinkerton agent Booker Dewitt been sent to the air city called Columbia to find the girl named Elizabeth, who been held on her tower. Booker has the mission to protect Elizabeth and escape from the attack of Comstock's troops. This game has absolutely stunning storytelling with stronger plots and most atmospheric cutscenes with higher quality standards to make the game even more interesting. The character in the game like Booker Dewitt is quite decent character than the protagonist from the first game and the Elizabeth is one of the best and most helpful sidekicks in the game, regarding the A.I aspects and being motivated A.I player.

The gameplay plays very well done indeed. The combat gameplay has great assisting target with perfect aiming controls, which gives you a better accurate shot with easy to kill the enemies. The weapons like pistols, shotgun, machine guns, grenade launcher, rocket launcher and more others are doing so great for combat gameplay. You can use Sky Hook as the melee attack, which you can punch them on their faces or you can use brutal finishing moves by holding the melee attack, when the skull icon is appearing on enemy's bar. Sky Hook can be used for stunts, which let's you attach and ride on the sky rail, but you can also jump on the enemies from the rail, which seems to be very cool and creative aspects for single player campaign.

You can use a Vigors as special attack, such as Bucking Bronco to attempt enemies flying, Murder of Crows as crow's attack, Shock Jockey as electric shock, Devil's kiss as fire attack, Possession to possessed enemies, Charge as the charged melee attack, Return to Sender as shield protector and Undertow as water attack are the coolest things ever on this game. You can get your weapons and Vigor upgraded from the shops to improve the player's performance or you can also get bullets for weapons, and health and salt for gaining character's status. The A.I character Elizabeth can use the lockpick to unlock the doors and safe box. She has the ability to open up tears to create cover, ammunition, and other useful objects during combat. However she can help you by passing you a money and the handy items, which she becoming a useful characters, during the missions. I say the gameplay is doing very great for combat, levels and helpful A.I characters to make the game becoming playable indeed. 

The graphics are very top notching for realistic animation, beautiful visuals effects, superb graphics environments and high quality performance for games design, backgrounds and textures, which is the best graphics on the mulitiplatform consoles.  

The music and sounds has great original soundtrack with classy 30's american movies sound like, spectacular sound effects and fantastic voice cast for all characters in the game are truly the most amazing sounds of all times.    

The special features has DLC pack, which has Seasons Pass, Columbia's Finest, Clash in the Clouds and Burial at Sea - Episode 1 as the extra levels. However, the Episode 2 is coming soon on March 25th.

Here's my conclusion.

Gameplay 8.8/10 - Great combat gameplay for weapons, vigors, character's movements and levels.

Graphics 9/10 -   Very top notching for realistic animation, beautiful visuals effects, superb graphics environments and high quality performance for games design, backgrounds and textures.

Music and Sounds 8.9/10 -  Amazing choice for great original soundtrack with classy 30's american movies sound like, spectacular sound effects and fantastic voice cast for all characters.

Special Features 8.2/10 -  DLC pack has Seasons Pass, Columbia's Finest, Clash in the Clouds and Burial at Sea - Episode 1 are very handy downloadable pack, but Episode 2 is coming soon at March 25th.

Overall 8.8/10 - Bioshock Infinite is the spectacular and most entertaining FPS game on muiltiplatform consoles. Irrational Games did a wonderful job for this game to make it more realistic and intense action shooter to pleased FPS fans. So go get this game and enjoy the game.

Max Payne 3 PS3 Review

Before I review this game, here is the history of gaming legacy series called Max Payne.

History of Max Payne Series: 

Back in 2001, Remedy Entertainment and Rockstar Games brought the crime-action TPS game called Max Payne, which is one of the most intense and entertaining game in 6th generation consoles. It has wonderful story development, awesome main character himself, unique gameplay action, and more suspense atmosphere, which makes the best original game on the series. 

In 2003, there's the sequel called Max Payne 2:The fall of Max Payne, which follows the event after the first game. However, it receives positive reviews from critics, but the game didn't sold well as the first game. In my opinion, I say the sequel sounds pretty disappointing with boring campaign and underwhelming storyplot compared to first game.

Finally in 2012, Max Payne 3 got made for 7th generation consoles and what can I say? It's a damn good game, honestly. It much far more improved than the MP2, which the Rockstar games have offered the greatly improved gameplay, brilliant graphics environment, superb storyplot, exciting single player campaign with much more action shooters and very cinematic cutscenes. ok'ay let's move on to review and see why this game is fun and worth to play?    

Max Payne 3 PS3 Review

Max Payne 3 is the third person shooter for PS3, X360 and PC, which developed by Rockstar Vancouer and published by Rockstar Games. This game takes place after the event of second game, Max Payne, a former NYPD Detective, meets Raul Passos, who gets him the job as a private security contractor in Brazil.

He quickly finds himself, which constantly encountering difficult situations, which leads him on search for the culprits of death and betrayals. I say the story on the game sounds quite different from the previous game. It has more storyplot and great dialogue, which makes the story sounds interesting and worth to watch cutscenes. The characters are still decent, even the main character is still badass as hell, that shoots the tons at bad guys. Max Payne isn't about being cop, it's about being more aggressive and serious vigilante characters. I like the some of the villains characters are seems to be good as the others from previous games. Bottom line, the story and characters in the game are genius as ever and very entertained action sequences.  

This game has 14 chapters for single player campaign, arcade mode and online mulitiplayer. The gameplay is like the predecessors, where you just the crap of the enemies, but with addition of cover mechanic, which allows your player to hide behind the wall or objects. You can also use dodging moves to avoid the enemy's attack. It also make the return of the bullet time, which you can use it as the slow motion mode during the combat gameplay. It helps you avoid the enemy's attack very easy and you can shoot them easily, when slowing down the combat gameplay, but I love the shootout on kill cam, which is sounds awesome. Your player can run by pressing the sprint button, but the running controls feels little too slow for this game. The combat gameplay plays very well on this game. The aiming controls feels very accurate with assisting targeting and the weapons are quite good for shooting range and the rate of firing. You can change it to dual weapons, which you can only hold two weapons allows you to give double damage to the enemies, which feels very precised and unique. However, you can't carry more weapons just like on predecessors has one, you only can swap weapons in the game, which concerns me.

You can use painkillers to heal your character's health just like the first game, which is quite useful for single player missions. The game will also automatically save the checkpoints, when you move on to the next level, but there's no quick save features, which is sounds quite shame that you might get even fraustraighted more, when you have to start fighting the bad guys over again in low health. I say the gameplay plays very well with awesome campaign, good controls and great shootout atmosphere, which makes this game worth entertaining. 

The graphics looks pretty outstanding with fantastic animation, superb visuals, great performance, which runs the same graphics engine as the GTA 4 and spectacular look on character's design, backgrounds and textures are awesome as ever.   

The music and sounds are pretty decent. The original music in the game sounds like the predecessors, which sounds pretty awesome with atmosphere, emotions and sounds fitting, but I'm not in to Brazilian music. 

The sound effects has the best shootout backgrounds and blood splatting noise. The voice acting sounds fantastic for characters cast with fitted voice and great accents. 

The special features offers some interesting DLC pack, like Gorilla Warfare, Local Justice, Hostage Negotiation, Painful Memories and Deathmatch Made In Heaven. The unlockable features has alternative costumes, character select, more difficulty and unlockable cheats.

Here is my final verdict.

Gameplay 8.5/10 - Outstanding combat gameplay and great movements.

Graphics 9.1/10 -  Fantastic animation, superb visuals, great performance, and spectacular look on character's design, backgrounds and textures.   

Music and sounds 7.9/10 - Awesome original music, great sound effects and superb voice cast.

Special features 8.5/10 - Nice DLC pack choices and handy unlockable features.

Overall 8.5/10 - Max Payne 3 is far most improved sequel and very intense shooter. I'm very glad that Rockstar Games have fixed the mistakes that they did it on second game. It bring us the great gameplay experience with more action, bloody violence, best shootout, being aggressive characters to become badass and by far it has the wonderful story cutscenes with interesting plot line and dialogue, which makes this game lot better than the second game. Holy shit! you got to play this game right on your own home and get ready to lock and load, bitches!
