Top 5 Terrifying Gaming Console Errors

Have you ever been spooked by the gaming system's fatal errors before? well you're not alone because it's almost a spooky holiday everyone.
Get yourself a dressing-up costumes, trick 'n' treat candies, carving kits for pumpkins, and decorating sorted out, so tonight I am here to talk about something really scary that might going to haunt you for the rest of your days and nights do you know why?
Well...what I am saying is that you normally had fun playing your gaming consoles which is a everyone's favourite activity device that we all love spent playing every single day and night, but there are some of the things that turns out to be something unexpecting...yes?
I'm talking about the faults of the system that could have an issues that makes your consoles or games unplayable, but it's more horrifying than that.
I am here to make my 5 things that had everyone experienced with the things that they will never forget their childhood nightmares.

Here is my top 5 terrifying gaming console errors.

5 - Game crashing error

There's one of the common issues for the gaming consoles is the crashing and freezing that became the reason why are the games just stopped functioning at all, well...as you pop your cartridge or disc inside your system to run the software you start playing the game for quite a minute till your game starts freezing or crashes which you'll notice something really weird on your TV screen.
It's not just the game freezes just freaks you out, it's mostly you could hear randomised glitchy noises that made your ears bleed and those scrambled messy screens just suddenly mixes around is what made everyone feel shivering when their game is doing something crazy.
The major causes of game freeze is that your game cartridge or disc is uncleaned or damaged or it could be your system's slot or lens that stops reading your game, so you may gonna grab yourself a cleaning kit to solve the issue.

It's not just only the retro gaming system had an issues back then, but the worst things for today's system is that your game could randomly crash during the gameplay which means once the game is freezes the app will greet you with the error message implying users to send and report the issues to the company.
It kinda gives everyone an heart attack after seeing these kinds of crashing errors, so be sure to properly update both of your games and systems software to resolve it or rebuilt your database on the safe mode menu.

4 - Sony's Console's Screen of Doom

What's even worst than seeing the start-up screen that display the error implying the player that your console could not read disc is due to wrong CD format...yeah we should know what the game disc is actually used for.
The worst nightmare is that did you know the first two Sony's consoles like the PS1 and PS2 does actually had something that may going to scare little kids or something that really haunts their childhood.
First up is the PS2 console, so when you power-up your PS2 system it boots-up a regular start-up sequence which is quite normal but what if you insert the wrong format disc that aren't used for PS2 console? when placing with the random disc that aren't playing PS2s, PS1s, DVDs, and CDs music format then it prompt you with the red screen of doom which is not quite welcoming, so you may see a gloomy looking red screen and horrifying noise effect just feels very unsettling to watch.

What's even more creepy is that the PS1 console may going to scare you big time because when you had a modchip installed on your PS1 console or using the techniques like disk-swapping it tricks the PS1 system to play non-protected games, so if playing with the damaged or non-PS1 disc then it struggles to run the software and corrupting the BIOS which prompted you with the black background screen with the PlayStation logo, so what makes even more disturbing is that after being stuck on the screen for an minute will play a slowed down version of the start-up chimes which is very loud and distressing makes your head feel uneasy.

So whatever you do is please try not to insert something random disk that aren't Playstation format otherwise you'll be greeted to the screen of doom.

3 - SEGA Mega CD's warning message

Oh my god, can't you believe there's something that one of your own game disk is actually had a creepy message that warns the users not to play it on your CD player, so why is that?
Before I give the details about the reason why the warning message had been playing on your CD player, so first of all is that when you're trying to play out the music soundtrack that's included on your game disk you may discover that one of the track no. something may going to play out the track that contains the warning message urging the players that the disk is for use with a SEGA CD system only and not designed for playing on the audio CD Player.
Not only the warning message track had a scratchy guitar riffs that became louder and louder when the CD track keeps continuing playing through and through is just sounds pretty rad at the beginning which I'm totally liked the sounds of the cool and badass riffs, except one that kinda ruins their childhood was followed by a serious lady voice trying to make users turn off the CD player, I mean Jesus woman just please tone down your voice will you, you just scaring the f**k out of these little kids.

To tell you the truth, I totally understand they wanted to use game disk on the CD player to play out their favourite in-game soundtrack which is absolutely fine and of course the game disk uses the redbook audio format showcasing the SEGA Mega CD's enhanced music for certain of the games, but what I've completely learned from the warning message is that they do not want users to play it on the track no.1 which contains the game data of CD-ROMs format, so it means that the track no.1 is actually used for the console systems to read out the game's file data allowing the system to load up the game.
If you play it on the track no.1 by mistake without realising then it can damage to your audio speakers or equipment which means that the track no.1 being played on the CD player makes a severe static noises could blow up your audio speakers, so whatever you do is please do not play it on track no.1 unless if you're a gaming geek just wanted to listen the soundtrack on your CD player just skip it to track no.2 instead.

2 - Console's Disk Drive Failure

There are common issue that the modern gaming consoles, especially with 7th, 8th, and 9th gen systems, had an issue with the optical disk drive that suddenly makes the weird grinding noises meaning there's the faults inside the system that had a loose optical disk drive.
If you pop-in the game disk inside the system's disc slot then you'll be encountered with the noises of the disk drive which means that your system had struggle to read the disk due to optical disk drive is either unstable or gotten quite loose.
The failure of the disk drive can also damage to your game disk meaning that the optical disk drive that are unbalanced had struggled to hold the game disk causing the disk itself to bounce off while spinning could result a awful looking scratched marks which is no good.

It sounded like the chainsaw inside the disk drive just shreds the f**k out of your game disk makes the ring-shaped marked all over the places, which is the worst things that can happen to any console owners did not expect the horrifying noises from your console just instantly kills your favourite game, unless if it's not very severe but just the light scratch then consider yourself an lucky because the light marks can be repairable with the cleaning kit except the ones that are severely damaged cannot be restored then you are definitely f**ked, so be sure to always check your system to see if its nothing fishy before popping the game disk in because there might be a gremlins in your gaming console.

1 - Xbox 360's Red Ring of Death

Ladies and Gentlemen, you may be witnessed with the dark old times that we will never forget our worst childhood nightmares, so you'll be encountering with the horrifying errors for your gaming system that are refused to continue to run and never be worked again...so that is Xbox 360's Red Ring of Death.
Yes everyone, I am talking about the days in mid-2000s when the launch system like the Xbox 360 had suffered with the most fatal flaws that got the players feel spooked when they discovered the most doomiest things that your gaming system had suddenly starts flashing the red light around the ring indicating that your game console just suddenly stops working and no longer functioning.
It happened many X360 owners since they bought it off from the gaming store at the launch release, so it was been reported in 2009 where the warranty provider company such as SquareTrade had confirmed the X360's system failure rate in the first 2 or 3 years is 23.7% that the customers had reporting a system failure in comparison with 10% for PS3 which the 2007's launch model had suffered the similar fate as the X360 and 2.7% for Wii which is likely related to Wii's disc-drive reading issue.

What I've learned about the X360's devilish looking red light is that your system may ran with the issues that prevent your console becoming unplayable such as AV cable connector are not been properly detected on your HDTV screen, your system may have power outages due to damaged power plug, and of course the worst part of it is the system's overheating when your console is building-up the heat are the three general hardware failures that your X360 stopped working.
The main cause of the major issues is the poorly designed hardware components with cheaply made thermal paste on CPUs and improperly soldering joints could lead the expose of these components can develop the cracks and brittle that are almost irreparable which is why it made the X360 no longer working.

The X360's Red Ring of Death is definitely being one of the gaming most darkest moments in the history for those who own the launch model X360 back in mid-2000s are kinda got buggered by the doomish looking red ring that prevents them from playing the game regularly.
Luckily after the controversial RROD incident, Microsoft had confirmed the news to the consumers for the repair services to get their consoles fixed as soon as possible to cover up the RROD issue that the X360 owners had experienced with the faults that prevents the system from functioning.

As in today, if you see your console had an issue then it's possible to take it to the gaming repair store to help you fixing the system or you may consider fixing it yourself by watching the console's DIY tutorial video to give you a guide how to fix and repair the system step by step.
