10 Reasons why PS3 is awesome

In 2006, Sony have reveled the seventh generation console called Playstation 3 as the successor of Playstation 2 as best selling consoles of all time. The Sony did not do well on E3 press conference 2006 and the price of the original model is ridiculously expensive. In 2007, the console did not sold well until the slim model arrives later in 2009 and the price cost much less than the original models, which the sales is getting lot better than was before. However, PS3 has the best exclusive games of all time because Sony made lot of IPs to pleases their fans have been waiting for the new games to come. The console itself is pretty did amazing with good media features, great online services, watching blu ray movies, and plays PS1 games.
This console is quite good as the X360 and it's has way more variety than the Nintendo Wii.
So here is the 10 reasons why PS3 is awesome.

1 - Exclusive Games

Who said PS3 don't have a lot of exclusive games? OF COURSE THEY DO!
PS3 has God of war 3, Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone, Gran Turismo 5, Yakuza, Infamous, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, and one of the PS3 Masterpiece of all time Last of Us that defines the console.
Sony did have better games than the most of the Microsoft and Nintendo games on seventh generation era.
I'm very glad I've got the console since 2011 and it made my days so good.

2 - PS Plus has instant game collection

Playstation Plus is one of  the best subscription services that Sony can offers to all hardcore gamers with free instant games collection in limited time and having a great price offers for some of the digital games.
PS Plus cost £40 a year which is 100% cheaper than the Xbox Live subscription cost £15 a month.
PS Plus has the great library of games to play with, like Dead Space 2, Infamous 2, Metal Gear Rising, Dead or Alive 5, Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3, Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Bulletstorm and plenty more of the games to play with, since the instant game collection have started in June 2012.

3 - Watching Blu-Ray movies

Watching Blu-Ray movies is very good for us to watch movies with 1080p resolution. It brought us to see the films with amazing picture quality, high quality sounds and using 3D glasses is cooler for special effects in the movies.
Blu-Ray is also plays DVD as well, which is sounds cool as well. PS3 is the great example of having Blu-Ray drive is ability to play Blu-Ray movies, but most of the PS3 games uses Blu-Ray disc, which allowing the whole game to be fitted on the disc, due to what Blu-Ray disc is capable of having 25GB size memory.

4 - Plays region free games

Ah yes, this is why PS3 is so good by playing any imported Japanese and American exclusive games on your console. Having regionless console is sounds pretty good decision by Sony, which allows anyone in around the world getting the different types of region games can be played on certain console without any restriction. I brought the game Live Powerful Pro Baseball 2010 for £17.50 from ebay because I wanted to play any Japanese games that never came outside of Japan, so I'm very glad that I got the game since last year and I hope I can get another Japanese games soon.
This is what the worlds need to have one on the video game consoles. Without the region free, then you will never play any most wanted games from different countries on your certain consoles.

5 - Cross play features

Like remote play features that allows PS3 games to be played on PSP or Vita, cross play is the remote access games that allows same games to be played on different Sony consoles, like PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.
Say the Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is playing on PS3, I turned on Vita and using the cross play apps by bringing the game from PS3 to my device, so I can play the game on PS Vita at the same time.
Cross controller allows PS Vita to control the gameplay for PS3 and PS4, which is sounds very cool to use it for gameplay purposes. Cross saves allowing to share save data from different Sony console platforms is quite handy for public use, and finally cross buy gives you a whole playstation consoles versions of the same game, which is sounds pretty awesome to have it.

6 -  Hard drive is replaceable

If your PS3 started to run out the memory, then you can able to change the hard drive anytime you want.
There are lot of digital games, game data, save data, media files and stuff on your hard drive will started to waste your free space, but you can replace it with new hard drive for change.
Getting new hard drive from the online can be very expensive to purchase, but it can be very handy for keeping your stuff on your old hard drive safe for later.

7 - Plays media stuff from external devices

You can copy and paste your musics, video and pics to your PS3 system or you should play it out from any devices, such as USB Pen Drive, Mobile Phone, Tablet, and SD Card Adapter, which you don't have to copy and paste it to your PS3 hard drives. It is also have installation packages for older PS3 firmware, such as homebrew, emulator and etc, which is sounds pretty cool.

8 - Playstation Network

Playstation Network is the decent online services that has PS Store to go for online shopping, joining PS Plus subscription, unlockable trophies achievements for your gaming experience and ability to play online mulitiplayer. You could do instant messaging by sending the message to your friends, you can add your friends PSN ID as the friends list, using voice/video chat through chat rooms, and you can also download apps, like BBC iplayer, iTV player, Channel 4 player, Demand 5, Netflix, Lovefilm and etc.
Playstation Network is just far good as the Xbox Live, so I like the gaming services.

9 - Same Controller always the best for Playstation consoles

So you don't need the crappy prototype controller that is look like a boomerang. All you need is to have same controller design as the older dualstock controller is to make the controller more simple and easy to use.
The PS3 controller has a ability to charge the battery using USB cable, but it is also working on PCs as well by using DS3 software.
Dualstock controller is by far the best controller ever made in gaming industry. It feels comfortable, it's feels more accurate to hold the controller, it's plays very good for most of the games, and it's started to vibrate gives a good feel of the rumble on my hands. Yeah, this controller feels awesome.

10 - Plays physical PS1 games library

Too bad the Slim PS3 model doesn't play physical PS2 games (unless if you have original fat model does support physical PS2 games), but it does play physical PS1 games as backwards capabilities.
Remember PS2 console allowing to play any PS1 games library? Yes we all know the best selling console can play PS1 and DVD movies, but what does PS3 have?
PS3 is the only console that plays every classic PS1 games is quite cool to have one on your console.
You can play every classics PS1 games library, such as Tekken 3, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, Resident Evil, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Ridge Racer, Gran Turismo, Tomb Raider and more.
I wonder why Sony doesn't allow Slim PS3 to play PS2 games physically????????

Anyway PS3 is still an awesome console with tons of great games, online services, best at media stuff, unlockable trophies achievements and stuff that Sony can do on gaming consoles. It's one of my favorite consoles on seventh generation console era.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 PS3 Review

Back in 90's, I've played some of the classy 3D fighting games, like Virtua Fighter and Dead of Alive are the prime example of being the most revolutionized fighting games that uses the environmental 3D engines, but when Namco brought their own fighting games for the arcade cabinet and the home consoles, the first Tekken game takes the cake that had become so popular on fifth generations consoles era. With the success of first Tekken game, it was later for sequel came out in 1996 and it's plays better than the predecessor with better gameplay controls, unique combos, techniques styles and being realistic 3D fighting games. In 1998, they brought Tekken 3 on PS1 and it blows our mind that defines the 3D fighting games genre. It has more character rosters, improved gameplay, better graphics, and mini games. It's one of the best fighting games ever on home consoles. I've never played TT1, 4, 5 and 6. Until I've got Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for PS3.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the 3D fighting games for PS3, X360 and Wii U, which both developed and published by Bandai Namco Games. It is sequel to original Tekken Tag Tournament for PS2.
It has over 40 playable rosters, New stages, Character costumes, Downloadable DLC content, Online battle, Fight lab, Tekken Tunes, and 3D stereoscopic.
While the Wii U has their own exclusive content, like characters costumes based on Nintendo franchises, power up items and exclusive mini games called "Tekken Ball" as touch based games.
This game features with arcade mode, practice mode, tutorial mode, VS mode with single or tag match, ghost mode, time attack mode, and survival mode.
The gameplay plays very good with new move sets and stylish techinques is just to keep the gameplay balanced as possible. The controls handle do good for combos moves is responding very well for character's movements. I like the tag attacks, which you and your partner can both attack with grappling moves or some assistant moves as well. You can switch your characters during the gameplay, when your character has lower health, so it's very good for your teammate to keep them safe without losing your character's health.
Your characters can able to run forward, as well you can perform the running attack and using the sidestep to move around the levels is good for avoiding the enemies attack.
You can check the command list to learn the character's moves, which guarantees for you to learn the moves.
I've enjoyed the arcade mode, time attack mode, survival mode and online battle is really fun to play because it's very challenging and it's keeps me playing more and more on this game.
I say I finding fight lab is quite little too hard for tutorial purposes, which took me ages to finished the each chapter, but you can able to tune up a new moves for the character, like Combot is the only upgradable fighting roster in the fight lab, which is good thing.
The graphics looks pretty amazing with detailed characters, decent visuals, great level environment, and the fantastic look of animation with 60fps and smooth looking textures, which Namco are doing fantastic job on the console version to keep the game look refreshing and smart.
The music and sound kinda has mixed bag for the music in the game. Sometimes it does comes with some decent techno music and some of them has ridiculous modern dance music style, which aren't sounds good as the other music from previous Tekken games, but you can also change music from Tekken tunes options, which lets you select any music from older Tekken games, when you brought the music pack from PS Store, but if you don't want to buy music pack from PS Store, instead you can also use custom MP3 music to play your own type of music or you can include some previous music from older Tekken games, which sounds lot better than the original TTT2 music. Thank god for custom mp3. The sound effects is quite good for atmosphere and some background noise. It is sounds perfect for using surround sound equipment to keep yourself entertained and enjoying the game.
The special features has Downloadable content for music and other movies, unlockable ending movies, tekken tune and character costumes.

Advantages

Great gameplay

Amazing graphics

More features (such as adding new moves, over 40 roster, new stages and etc)

Online battle

Worth challenging game modes (Such as Survival mode, time attack mode and arcade mode)

Offline VS Mode

Custom music features

Disadvantages

Fight lab is difficult to play

Mixed bag original TTT2 music

Final Verdict

Bottom line....

Gameplay 7.5/10 - Great gameplay controls and decent character's techniques moves.

Graphics 8.5/10 - Amazing detailed characters, decent visuals, great level environment, and the fantastic look of animation with 60fps and smooth looking textures.

Music and sounds 7/10 - Mixed bag original TTT2 music, but good thing it has custom music options.
It has good sound effects for atmosphere and some background noise.

Special Features 8/10 - It has downloadable content for music and other movies, unlockable ending movies, tekken tune and character costumes.

Overall 7.5/10 - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is pretty good fighting game for modern consoles, but it wasn't just good as the Tekken 3 masterpiece, but it's still definitely worth playing the game for PS3 and X360.
Namco did a good job on this game and I'm sure they will make another Tekken Tag Tournament game soon, if they would like to make another sequel to this. To all fighting games fans, you should try getting the game. If you like to have some exclusive features from the Nintendo franchises, then get the Wii U version.

Condemned 2 PS3 Review

Condemned 2 is a psychological horror FPS games for PS3 and X360, which developed by Monolith Productions, and published by SEGA.
It is sequel to the original game called "Condemned" that already came out since 2005. It is the crime detective with horror elements, darker atmosphere, serial killer antagonist, and some scary shit, what makes the game sounds worth entertaining as hell.
This game is compared with FEAR series, which also involves with psychological horror elements and darker themes of the games atmospheres is sounds pretty similar together.
If you like the horror games like FEAR series, then you might give a go with this game.
This game takes place after the first game, Detective Ethan Thomas, who is becoming alcoholic and pissed off character, have suffered with paranormal vision causing him to have nightmares, so his mission is to investigate the next crime scenes that involved the murder of Malcolm Vanhorn was killed by Serial Killer X.
The story in the game has decent plotlines that focuses on the character's investigation and paranormal setups to keep the story put straightforward. The characters is pretty okay, but it's not so memorable in the game.
This game has 11 chapters on single player, and featuring online mulitiplayer with 9 maps, 8 players and 4 modes.
The gameplay is played pretty okay, but there some issues on the combat controls. The main character can able to use brawler attacks for combat mechanics. You could use punching and kicking as the basic moves, but also performs stronger attacks with chain combos and finishing moves through QTE purposes, which makes the good attacking techniques, but it feels bit slow for hand to hand combat gameplay is due to controls issues makes the combat feels repetitive, but you need to get used with the controls.
You could also pick weapons as melee attacks are quite useful for combat gameplay, which you can whack them to death or by throwing at them too. For firehand gameplay, the weapons is worked very well to have balanced shooting range and accurate aiming to keep the gameplay played good. Your abilities is automatically upgrades after you beat the each level allowing to have better techniques and skills.
I also like the investigation mode is where you have to scan the evidence and find the clues during the investigation.
The levels is quite challenging with puzzle solving, discovering new things, and the great horror atmospheres of gameplay with tons of deadly monsters is fun to play.
The graphics has excellent visuals and darker animations to make the game look terrified with gruesome gore effects to keep the game look bloody as possible. This is by far the best graphics on the seventh generation consoles to make the game look detailed and fully prepared.
The music and sounds has the best atmospheres of sound effects to make it sounds scary and terrifying to hear it. The voice acting did the good job on the game to fit well on the characters with well fitting voice.
PS3 version has a little bit problem with audio issues, which causing to have crackling sounds, but not a lot, so you won't have a problem with X360 version is sounded more cleaner.
The special features has unlockables art concept, rewards, and challenging mini games has the great choices of this game.

Advantages

Great graphics

Superb atmosphere

Decent story and characters

Good puzzle solving

Decent gameplay

Disadvantages

Hand to hand controls feels repetitive

Audio issues

Update patch may not working is due to freezes the game, especially quitting the game as well unless you have to disable the internet connection from network settings.

Final Verdict

Bottom line is...

Gameplay 7/10 - Decent gameplay with great weapons, investigation mode and worth challenging levels.

Graphics 8.5/10 - Excellent visuals, darker animations and gruesome gore effects.

Music and sounds - 7/10 - Superb atmosphere and good voice acting.

Special features 7/10 -  Unlockables art concept, rewards, and challenging mini games.

Overall 7/10 - Condemned 2 is somewhat a very good horror games with fantastic horrific elements such as paranormal visions and some disturbing scenes, more scary atmospheres with lot of shit happening in the game, and great single player campaign with decent storyplot is by far deserves to be scariest game on mulitiplatform consoles, but too bad the game didn't sold very well since 2008. If it is the X360 version, I would give it 7.5/10 because it didn't have the major problems like the PS3 version does, so If you like the psychological horror games like FEAR series, then I recommend to get this game for PS3 or X360 because Condemned 2 is the most underrated horror games that you should able to try the game out and it's going to enjoy your gaming experiences.

Dredd 3D Blu-Ray Review

Dredd 3D is the sci-fi action movie was released in 2012, which directed by British directors Pete Travis.
As you know that the original movie called "Judge Dredd" have already came out in 1995, which received negative reviews from the critics, stated the original movie has cheesy dialogue, goofy action flick and poor balanced of story development has destroyed the fans reputation to enjoy the films based on classy British comic books.
So back in 2012, there was a reboot called "Dredd 3D", which meant to be more serious sci-fi action film with extreme shootouts, amazing special effects with intense slow-mo and darker storyplot to keep the movie look stand out, so this is how the dredd movies should be like this.
My reaction to this movie is quite really amazed me that the movie just got it right where it should be.
The movie takes place at United States in future years, the story is about Judge Dredd (played by Karl Urban) and his partner Cassandra Anderson (Played by Olivia Thirlby) has the mission to investigate at tower block in Peach Trees to take on drug lord Madeline Madrigal, A.K.A Ma-Ma  (Played by Lena Headey) order hers groups of thugs to take down the two judges.
I like how the story works in the movie because the storyplot is sounds familiar, like the indonesian action films "The Raid Redemption", where they have to take on the group of thugs from defending the drug lord, so this what the Dredd 3D movie is sounds too similar, which is sounds pretty cool for the sci-fi action movies like this.
The Actors/Actress did a great job on the characters choices. I find Karl Urban is well suitable for his character role than the Sylvester Stallone from the original 1995 movie. Dredd is suppose to be more serious and ruthless character, which pretty more standout on this movie rather than being cheesy and corny character from the original 1995 movie with having ridiculous dialogue and quotes. Olivia Thirlby did amazing job on her character that she plays. It's one of the decent Actress that makes her character role sounds more interesting with great plot and interesting character concept is worked very well in the movie, which you don't want to see a annoying supporting characters, like Rob Schneider's character from the original 1995 movie, it's about having better characters in the reboot version to keep the movie more simple and straightforward.
Lena Headey's character role is sounds pretty much interesting with darker tone and it's quite similar to Ray Sahetapy's character Tama Riyadi from the Indonesian action movie "The Raid Redemption" because of Dredd 3D shares the similar plot and atmospheres.
What I like about the movie is the level of the violence with blood splatting and gruesome gore effects to make the action scenes look awesome as hell because of the shootout scenes did a fantastic job on the movie, especially I really like the special effects of bullet time, where the bad guys gets head blowned with Dredd's handgun during the slow motion is seems doing a good job, but I think the bullet time is bit overdone for visual effects and limited timing of slow motion, but still great to use 3D glasses on HDTV with nice 3D backgrounds and some layout environment is worth to watch.
I like the sound atmospheres with background noises and cracking sound effects are perfect with home cinema speakers started to vibrating and it is one of the best sound work ever in the movie.
The special features has sort of behind the scenes video, like Dredd: 2000 AD, Slo-Mo, Welcome to Peachtrees, The 3rd dimension, Dredd's gear and Interviews with Cast and Crew are interesting to watch it about the Dredd movies.

Advantages

Great story and characters

Brilliant special effects for 3D movies

Bloody violence makes action scenes look good

Best soundwork in the movie

Decent actors/actress performances

Disadvantages

Bit overdone visual effects

Limited slow-mo time

Sometimes 3D glasses can strained eyes too

Final Verdict

The bottom line is...

Story and characters 8.5/10 - Great story and characters makes the movie plot sounds even better.

Atmosphere 9/10 - Superb actions scenes and awesome blood and gore effects.

Music and sounds 8/10 -  Fantastic sound atmospheres with background noises and cracking sound effects makes the best soundwork in the movie.

Special Features 8/10 - It has sort of behind the scenes video, like Dredd: 2000 AD, Slo-Mo, Welcome to Peachtrees, The 3rd dimension, Dredd's gear and Interviews with Cast and Crew are interesting to watch it.

Overall 8.5/10 - I say the Dredd 3D is by far one of the best Dredd's movies so far and it's offers a tons of more improvements over the original 1995 movie. Pete Travis did a wonderful job on this movie to keep it more entertaining and pleases to Dredd's fans is worth to watch. I recommended you to get this and it will never disappoint you to see how good the reboot movie is and see why is it better than the crappy original 1995 movie.
