5 Reasons why Retro Gaming are awesome

Ahhh, good old golden age gaming that brings me a greatest experience in gaming. We have 8 bit era, 16 bit era, 32 bit era and so on. There are some reason to love retros because of the quality of the games library, memorable video game mascots, and the best consoles out there that saves the gaming generations.
So I have learnt everything about the gaming in olden days that I've grew up becoming a true gamer that loves playing video games. I've played lot of 2D and 3D platforming games, FPS Games, RPG Games, Fighting Games, Sports Games and etc. So here is a 5 reasons why Retro Gaming are awesome.

1. Best video games franchises of all time

There are so many games out there back in 80's and 90's. We have tons of great games that really got hardcore gamer's attention, like Super Mario, Metal Gear Solid, Doom, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat, Megaman, Donkey Kong, Tomb Raider and so many franchises that brought us a fantastic time on video games. We grew up remembering our childhood that we playing such an wonderful games on good old PC's and Consoles.

2. Best consoles of all times

In 80's, NES and SEGA Master System are the best consoles on 8 bit era, due to higher color graphics, cart's limitations, hardware systems and straight forward controller with precised gameplay. Nintendo and SEGA are the only two competitors can able to dominate the gaming marketing, but they also later developed a handheld console, like Game Boy and Game Gear are similar with 8 bit home consoles, but it's good for public use with some decent games. In 90's, 16 bit era have started with SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo and Turbografx 16 are the three home consoles to complete with. SEGA Genesis has best arcade ports games, great sound engines and great looking design on consoles. Super Nintendo is one of my favorite consoles ever made, due to precised controller, better graphics, excellent games library and hardware limitations can able to fit some games because depends what SNES is capable of using the special chip on game cartridge to make it look amazing on wonderful games.
Turbografx 16 are quite decent for games, controller and sound engine, but failed to beat with their competitors SNES and SEGA Genesis are dominating 16 bit market. The 32 bit era have started with SONY Playstation and SEGA Saturn are the only 32 bit consoles, while Nintendo 64 is a 64 bit consoles are aiming to complete with their competitors SONY and SEGA. I've used to have Saturn long time ago because it has some of the good games and decent controller, but my brother decided to swap it with Nintendo 64 are still fantastic consoles with great games, superb graphics and decent controller. I say SONY Playstation is the best for 3D technology, awesome exclusive games, higher quality CD audios, decent FMV for some games and the dualshock controller are the best controller ever made in fifth generations consoles. In sixth generation consoles, I have SEGA Dreamcast because it has the best games library of all times, cool gaming peripherals and online gameplay, but it became short lived, due to marketing problems with SEGA forcing themselves to discontinue the console in 2001. In 2002, I like Nintendo Gamecube because it has awesome exclusive games and good controller, but it's not just good as the Nintendo 64 and SNES, but still an good console. Microsoft Xbox are the first Microsoft console ever release in 2001. It has best looking graphics, great online services for mulitiplayer and great hardware limitations are the most powerful consoles on sixth generations. SONY Playstation 2 are also a good console that lasted very long, due to higher marketing are becoming best selling consoles so far. There's tons of great games out there and it does plays DVD just like original Xbox has one. I also like Game Boy Advance are quite like the SNES, but runs 32 bit engine are quite amazing for graphics and sound quality. So these are the history of video game consoles that we all learn to be a console collector.

3. Reading Game Magazines

I love reading video game magazines. It gives us a knowledge about the latest games release, previews, reviews and it comes with goodies, like calendar, posters, stickers and cheat guidebook. I had the magazines for long time that gives me a lot of nostalgic memories about the gaming. It has the badass looking cover on the magazines because it has colorful cover and well detailed design on front cover with awesome slogan, pics and so many details about the latest gaming news. Damn, I missed the good old magazines like Game Master and CVG in 90's are my childhood favorite critics.

4. Best Game Developers of all times

Ah yeah, there are some brilliant developers out there in old days. I grew up with Nintendo as my favorite developers behind Mario and Zelda series. Rareware made an excellent games like Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye 64, Killer Instinct and Conker Bad Fur Day are the nostalgia games on Nintendo era, but it became downhill with Microsoft era that I'm very disappointed these days. Konami did a good job on games like Castlevania, gradius and Metal Gear series. Capcom did for Street Fighter and Resident Evil series which got me attention to play. SEGA made Sonic, Jet Set Radio, Nights and one of my far favourite of all time is Shenmue series that I'm the fan of the series since Dreamcast era. Id Software made the mighty FPS games like Wolfenstein 3D as the grandfather of Doom and Quake series that defines the FPS genre.
These are the companies that I've like on classic era, who brought us a fantastic games that we all can enjoy and it is all thanks to game developers making all gamers happy as possible to keep us up playing video games.

5. Local Mulitiplayer

I like coming to my friends and family houses to play video games with 2-4 players. I remember playing Goldeneye 64 with my brother lot of times on 2 player battle and I always got lost everytime, when I was a kid started to scream and cry, but still an good times. I come over to my cousin's house and playing Timesplitters 2, Super Smash Bros Melee and Wario Ware Inc on Gamecube. Oh I almost forgot about playing Alien Storm, Street of Rage and Micro Machines for SEGA Genesis, and Quake 3 Arena, Soul Calibur and Chu Chu Rocket on SEGA Dreamcast that we playing all the times with good experiences.
It's better than playing on online, which sometimes the internet goes down and began to shut off the mulitiplayer battles is quite of headache to restart the match over again. This is why playing mulitiplayer on local way is the only best options to get your friends and family to join you and play the game for fun with no issues at all.
