Bayonetta PS3 Review

Platinum Games brought the SEGA's hack and slash action to the PS3 and X360. It was made by same director Hideki Kamiya who is the former Capcom's employee's and he is known creator for original Devil may cry who wanted to make a game that similar to his previous title. Bayonetta is a fast paced witch with badass double gun to shoot the crap of the evil angels. The story started happened after the 500 years, Bayonetta was revived 20 years ago which she has no memories in her past while she continues to fight the evil within. I say the characters are funny as hell, Luka has a lot of sense of humor and Bayonetta can be funny too when it comes with some of the cutscenes. The gameplay is outstanding for combat moves with awesome combos and some of techniques moves. The level puzzles is quite easy to solve the problem too and it has a epic boss fight in the game concidered to be one of the best boss fights seen so far, you may also go to gates of hell to upgrades your moves and weapons but you can buy items too, it helps the game played well done. The graphics has nice character design and stages but the problem was the color was look duller compared to X360 has a cleaner and glossy looking game was quite look better but just give a PS3 more credit for game design. The music and sounds is quite catchy for Japanese upbeat music, the voice acting is fitted well for characters and the sound effects is sounds very good. I say the special features is'nt enough, only has a gallery to unlock, can't they bring more than that. Sometimes the frame rate issue has a little bit problem in some of the chapters. It is annoying with the load times took a 30 sec to begin the game for PS3 version due to limited of the system compared to X360 has a better load times which only can take a 5 second to start the game, unless PS3 will get a free patch to install the game data which helps to reduce the load times which is no problem at all. So what can I say about this game, here is my bottom line.

Gameplay 9/10 - It has outstanding controls for combat system for combos and techniques moves.

Graphics 8/10 - Well it did a good job for PS3 version to make a nice characters design and stages but in my opinions, X360 has a better color and glossy looking game.

Music and Sounds 7.5/10 - It has a catchy Japanese music, great voice acting and very good sound effects.

Special Features 5.5/10 - Ummm only has a gallery to unlock, more please anybody.

Downside - PS3 gets problems with load times unless get a free patch to reduce the problems or get a X360 instead.
Frame rates is little bit slow down in some of the levels but not so much.

Overall 8/10 - Bayonetta is a good game, even the some of the flaws for PS3 version. If you have a PS3, buy this or if you hate the load times, get a X360 version instead.    

Top 10 Nintendo Gamecube games

As you know that Nintendo is finally made their first CD base console on Sixth generations.
Nintendo Gamecube has a great games out there with some of the great exclusives features.
It was completing with their rivals such as PS2 and Xbox did came out in 2002.
Now I'm going to make a top 10 Nintendo Gamecube games that will deserves the best on the list.


10 - Super Monkey Ball

SEGA made a best mini games for gamecube. Super Monkey Ball has a awesome main levels with crazy puzzles stages and 6 party games like race, target, fight, billiards, golf and bowling with muiltiplayer fun for families and friends. It has a great characters in the game like Aiai, Mee-Mee, Gongon and the cute little baby white monkey wants to come out and play with inside the ball. So this game was great and you will like the second one too.

9 - Timesplitters 2

If you like the N64 classics like Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark, maybe you will like kind of the game like this. Timesplitters 2 are excellent FPS game comes with story modes, challenge modes, muiltiplayer battles and plenty more stuff to enjoy. well the game does play like the Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark as you know the former Rare's teams who worked with N64 games before they left the company in 2000.
So why not give a try for this game shall we.

8 - Starfox Adventures

Oh yeah. one of the most underrated RPG games for gamecube. This is one of the Rare's last game to make before the company left Nintendo's job. Starfox Adventures isn't a flight shooter like the previous games, It's a open world adventures with RPG elements. Fox Mccloud discovers the new planet to investigates and save a planet and hot female fox Krystal from a Scales troops. It pretty much close to Zelda series with Star Wars inspirations that you go explore a new place and fight the bad guys out and collect the important items that would solves the world problems. After this game in 2002, Too bad the sequel (Starfox Assault) went disappointing when the game release in 2005, poor Fox Mccloud, It would have be better with flight shooter instead of doing something different.

7 - Soul Calibur 2

I love the original Soul Calibur on SEGA Dreamcast and would I like a second one, yes it is.
The reason why I like this game, it's comes with awesome gameplay with new techniques moves, newer graphics and more features. The good thing about this game, It has a character Link from Legend of Zelda for Nintendo exclusives only, woh hoh hell yeah, that would be fun having a Nintendo characters on this game. so Namco made a great sequel to great original. If you want to play as Link, you must get yourself a Gamecube with you.

6 - Viewiful Joe

This game is viewiful as ever. Viewiful Joe is a Beat em ups action that you go beat the shit of the bad guys with awesome slow motion and superb fast forwarding with cool combos moves. So Joe got trap inside the movie and battle to fight the evil ones who kidnaps the girlfriend Silvia who needs a hero is Viewiful Joe to come and rescue her. I love that game when it comes with unique gameplay and colorful comic book graphics with cool storyline plot. This game is must play it on Gamecube and enjoy playing this game.


5 - Super Mario Sunshine

I like the Mario series. Super Mario Sunshine is a great 3D platformer for gamecube and successor to N64 classics Super Mario 64. Mario has to clean up the cities and save the Princess Peach from the evil bowser again and again, here we go. It has a excellent levels with puzzles and collects star shine to restore the cities.
finding secrets somewhere in the stages would be fun to explore. having a great power ups for using a water tank machine fludd that shoots the water, wow thats cool. If you are a fan of Mario series, you will like this game too.

4 - Legend of Zelda: Windwaker

As you know the Legend of Zelda: Windwaker is one of the memorable RPG for gamecube. Link sets his quest to explore the new world and fight the evil Ganondorf once again. it has a colorful graphics for characters design and open world levels. The gameplay plays great for basic combat and items to use. The puzzles in the game is challenging as ever. If you want to play a great RPG games, try this game out.

3 - Metroid Prime 2: Echoes

One of the epic FPS adventures for gamecube. I like a original game and so with this. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes comes with new storyline plot with Samus's new quest. The gameplay was great with new power ups weapons, puzzles stages and epic boss fights. The mulitiplayer was fun to play with 4 players battle. I suggest you to play this because you like playing FPS games.


2 - Resident Evil 4

One of my all time favourite Resident Evil games in history. It's not just a Survivor Horror game, it's a action horror game with newer gameplay turns third person dimensions and outstanding graphics engines with awesome 3D models which makes a best horror game ever made. Leon Scott Kennedy sets his quest in europe after the 6 years later with umbrella incident. his mission to save a President Daughter Ashley Graham the annoying bitch (Which I already put in Top 10 Most Annoying Video Game characters in History since 3 or 4 months ago) who can't stop screaming already with the troubles of scary zombies with axe, long pitchfork, knifes and chainsaw massacre. It has a excellent gameplay for shooting range and weapons and the realistic graphics which makes the game look fantastic with character design and rendered engines. It concidered to be most popular and best selling horror game in history due to likes of fans and critics praises the style of the game. HEY! stop keep playing too much Gears of War series, all you wanted to play a great classic horror game like this. Resident Evil 4 is a King of Third Person Shooter games, Manly.


1 - Super Smash Bros Melee

Yeahhhhhhh I love this fighting game. Super Smash Bros Melee has a epic adventures mode, Classic modes, all star modes, training modes, survival modes and muiltiplayer modes, wow that's awesome. It has a new items such as weapons and power ups which is cool. New stages and Characters roster, wow that even awesome. It has a great Nintendo music from the Nintendo franchises, AHH I love the Nintendo music. The gameplay is epic as hell to kick anybody asses with combo moves and stages hazards to throw the opponent out the screen, THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!!! This got to be best fighting on Gamecube. This is got to be must play this since childhood. Wow I love the Nintendo games out there.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution PS3 Digital Download Review

I've have own original Deus Ex for PC version but I never get a chance to complete the game yet. So I have to review this game which I already completed this game yesterday. This game is prequel to original itself and what can I say about this?, it's a FPS with RPG elements. The story starts off terrorist group attacks the Sarif Industries and Adam Jensen get killed by Jaron Namir who shot Adam head off. After the 6 months of attack, Adam was relived as the cyber human. he sets his mission to find out what terrorist are planning and work for?. I got to say the story was quite good with characters actions and hear about how the Conspiracy theories rule the world? which seems pretty interesting story. lets talk about the gameplay. The game control is quite decent with movements that you can hide and shoot by using the cover mode and you may also takedown the badguys by using the melee attack. you may get a weapons and items selections in the options that you can equip the weapons, sort the items to make room and upgrading the characters abilities. the map screen tells you where you supposed to go? with the marker been appearing in the map screen. There is a problem with some of the weapons is not good for shooting range but needs to get a right timing to shoot properly. The items selections is too short, how do I add the space in the options menu?, even I can't fit the guns and bullets in the items selections. some time the badguys can be repetitive too even your character get easily killed too. The graphics is look top notch with character design, levels and some of the textures and backgrounds. The music is quite good and the sound effects was little cheap with gun shooting. the voice acting sounds great for characters which fits the voice well. there is a some of the special features such as DLC and tutorial mode which is seem not enough. here is a overall of this game here.


Gameplay 7.1/10 - Decent controls for movements and combat actions.

Graphics 9.1/10 - Characters design, levels and textures and backgrounds looks top notch with great game engine.

Music and sounds 7.6/10 - Good music, cheap sound effects and great voice acting.

Special features 5.5/10 - DLC and tutorial mode is nothing enough.

Downside - Some weapons may not good for shooting range.
Items screen has not enough space to fit in.
Bad guys can be repetitive.

Overall 6.8/10 - I say it's ok'ay game as my opinion. It has a good story concepts and characters but comes with a major flaws for the gameplay. maybe you have to rent the game instead buying this.       

Dead Space 2 PS3 Digital Download Review

I've have just reviewed the first Dead Space at 3 months ago and now I'm going to review the sequel to award winning sci-fi horror on PS3. So what can I say about this game?. I say it's a another epic horror action with new monsters, new chapters, some new characters and more scary atmosphere in this game.
The story starts off with Isaac Clarke find his way to escape from the deadly space station with the help of survivors Stross and others give his new mission to find and destroy the marker which space station go boom. it conteins with 15 chapters to complete the game. the gameplay is quite the same from the first ones but you can able to change controls which is quite good for game controls. the controls of the characters is no problem at all. the shooting range is perfect, the melee attack is getting lot better with character's attack system. you may also upgrades your weapons and armor to improve your characters abilities. there are some more puzzles to solve the problem which became more challenging as ever. the graphics is outstanding for characters design, level design and some of textures and backgrounds. It has a great sounds effects with scary sounds, gun shooting and voice acting for characters is excellent. this game features with downloadable content pack to download a extra pack and it has a online muiltiplayer to challenge the players but I got to say the muiltiplayer is mediocre due to poor balanced monster with weaker health which they get kill instantly and the attack is awful too which you won't able to kill the human players. The human characters is better for gun shooting and melee attack but I say you have to stick up with another game that has a better muiltiplayer match. I'm only got a original copy of this except the limited edition which includes the rail shooter Dead Space Extraction which is ported from the Wii version which comes with Playstation Moves and HD graphics which is nice to have a rail shooter on HD consoles, nice moves EA. ok'ay then here is a overall of this game that the sequel will deserves the best?, lets see.


Gameplay 8.8/10 - Great controls for characters action with more challenging rooms and upgrading the characters abilities which makes the game played perfect.

Graphics 9.1/10 - Outstanding characters design and textures and backgrounds which makes the game look well detailed.   

Music and sounds 8.7/10 - Scary sounds, trilling music and great voice acting.

Special Features 8.6/10 - more weapons, new armor, trophy support and more.

Downside - Muiltiplayer considered to be mediocre with poor balanced monsters which is aren't good as the single player campaign.
Sometimes the game can be too dark to see.

Overall 8.6/10 - Dead Space 2 is a solid sequel with awesome sci-fi horror action, scarier scenes and awesome death scenes. so I suggest you to buy this if you own the first game.
    

Top 10 SEGA Dreamcast Games

This is one of the last SEGA console came in 1999. SEGA Dreamcast is the first sixth generation console which only last for 2 years in 2001 due to poor marketing that console did'nt sold well which got lost to SONY who made Playstation 2 which went became lot popular. As you know SEGA Dreamcast has a online services which you can connect this system to dial up box to go on internet or play online games for fun which is seems new to gaming generations. It's has a very best game library to choose with and we know which game is played fantastic among with SEGA fans who loves playing a classic Dreamcast games. This is might be a fun game here. Jet Set Radio is just how cool the game is and what you do is to mess around and make graffiti in whole city, yeah. You get to play as the awesome funky characters such as Beat, Gum, Tab and others. It has a unique levels that you can perform the stunts like the most of the skating games genres and has a funky DJ's music which is sounds pretty catchy. I got to say it has a best graphics design on this game with anime sketches looks. good thing in this game that you can create your own graffiti design which is kinda cool. I'm sure it will come on PSN and XBLA soon will pleased the fans out there.


9 - Crazy Taxi

HEY HEY IT'S TIME FOR CRAZY TAXI. Yeah one of the craziest game on Dreamcast. Crazy Taxi is just how insane this game comes with excited arcade levels. You get to play as Axel, Gena, BJ Joe and Gus as the Crazy driver rush to pick up a customer and place it where they want to stop and collect the crazy money here. Whats makes a good crazy games here?, it's has a punk rock music made by The Offspring and Bad Religion, which makes a best punk rock music in the game, yeahhh way a go SEGA. So if you love this game, why not try this on Dreamcast.


8 - Power Stone 2

If you like a original Power Stone, you proberly like this game. It's one of the most intense 3D fighting games came on Dreamcast with 4 players battles, co-op mode, new characters and there plenty more stuff to have. We like to see a characters beat the crap each other with power gems and weapons, hell that got to be a epic 3D fighting games here, but where the hell happened to Power Stone 3 hey Capcom?.


7 - Virtua Tennis

Forget Grand Slam Tennis. SEGA brought the best sports game here on Dreamcast. Virtua Tennis is a balanced tennis game and easy to play. It comes with 8 tennis players, 10 courts, world circuit and some unlockables stuff. It had a fantastic gameplay with well balanced controls which makes the tennis game lot easier. SEGA did well for this game and so with the second ones, then third ones is quite good on PS3 and then suddenly the 2009 and 4 went nothing good as the great classic tennis game like this. If you want to play a great Virtua Tennis games, you got to have a Dreamcast with you.


6 - Quake 3 Arena

I like playing Quake series. Id software is known for Doom and wolfenstein series brought the first Quake in 1996 went become most successful FPS on PC and so with the Quake 2 for PC and PSX and we have a Quake 3 Arena for the Dreamcast. It's one of the ironic FPS for Dreamcast with online gaming services which lets you play a 4 players online, which is kinda worked the best that Id software can handle the Dreamcast ports well. It has a epic matches such as deathmatch, team battle and capture the flag to kick somebody ass with shotgun, rocket launcher, lighting gun, rail gun and BFG with full of gore and blood action. I got to love listening Techno Metal music made by Front Line assembly and Sonic Mayhem which did the best job for soundtrack. It was made after Epic Games who made Unreal Tournament before this came out 1 month later. so why not this on Dreamcast shall we.


5 - Sonic Adventure series

Sonic the Hedgehog is how awesome he is. Since the Sonic games on genesis era is became most successful platform game that SEGA made a best effort in gaming generations. SEGA brought the 3D adventures is Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast. So it's considered to be best Sonic games around here with couple of epic levels with 6 playable characters that you can play as. The story is seems interesting in cutscenes, which is good to have a story plots about the characters action. The second game includes the new characters like Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat came along in dark campaign scenarios. In 5 years later, too bad Sonic 06 went disappointing when it got released on X360 and PS3 which SEGA have rush the titles, which they did'nt do well as the great classics on Genesis and Dreamcast era. Would be that nice if SEGA manage to make a sequel to the great Sonic Adventure series with newer gameplay, new levels and new characters instead, so why not SEGA?.


4 - Soul Calibur

Namco made a best 3D fighting game on Dreamcast. It's superior to Arcade version, when it comes with new feature that Dreamcast can handle the Arcade hardware. It has a best 3D graphics that Namco can handle the 3D engine with faster framerate that makes the game look faster and better. The controls is played fantastic with combo moves with techniques weapons. The characters is awesome and the stage is well done.
Since they did made Soul Edge on PSX, which is a good fighting game, but I say this one is 100% better. If you're new to Soul Calibur series, this one is definitely get this on Dreamcast or maybe get it on XBLA with awesome online 2P battle, sounds cool.


3 - Resident Evil CODE:Veronica

I'm a fan of Resident Evil series is my favourite survival horror games. So here is a CODE:Veronica on dreamcast. It features with excellent cutscenes, memorable characters from previous game and some new features. The soundtrack concidered to be best on this game. The gameplay is epic for shooting zombies with challenging boss fight. There are some of the puzzle room to solve the problem and you get to play a battle mode as well which is fun. So there is a update version of this game called CODE:Veronica X that features with deleted scenes that we never seen it in this game, but it did came on PS2, Gamecube, XBLA and PSN, which is seems decent port from the Dreamcast but not good as the Dreamcast Version did lot better for gameplay. So if you a fan of Survival Horror games, I suggest you to play this cuz this game is awesome.


2 - Marvel vs Capcom 2: New age of heroes

One of the best crossover figthing game on Dreamcast. Marvel vs Capcom 2 features with classics heroes from Marvel comics such as Spiderman, Wolverine, Captain America, Rogue and others battle to fight awesome Capcom characters like Ryu, Megaman, Jill Valentine, T-Bonne and more. It has a nice stages to choose with and there is a training mode to practice the moves and 2 players battle to play with your friends. The gameplay is fantastic when it comes with Hyper Combo to get your teams to finished the opponent off which is one hell of the moves I've seen so far. The graphics has a colorful characters and great stages design which Dreamcast can handle the great limitation of arcade hardware. So it's still available on PS2 and Xbox but why not get a PSN and XBLA for online battle instead, sounds cool.

1 - Shenmue series

Shenmue series is the best RPG game ever made on Dreamcast but why SEGA did'nt make a sequel. As you know it has a masterpiece cutscene with excellent stories. Ryo Hazuki set his revenge quest to fight Lan Di who killed Ryo's father named Iwao in cold blood. The characters is amazing in the game which I'm pleased with it. open world gameplay is epic with QTE and battle to kick the bad guys asses and has a superb graphics design that SEGA made a best 3D model engine in the game. It has a best soundtrack in the game, which makes Shenmue series memorable. Too bad SEGA did'nt do well with financial marketing because the game is expensive and nobody can afford the masterpiece game like this. I've heard the news from the creator Yu Suzuki had said that he might able to make Shenmue 3 in the future depends the budgeting the money that he can afford to make a game. So this series is one of my favourite of the RPG games and it's number one best Dreamcast games ever made.

Oculus Rift: V.R Kickstarter News

I've just first started to go on youtube and then I just found a video about a Virtual Reality on gaming which is quite intresting to see a awesome 3D graphics in modern gaming. Oculus Rift brought the Virtual Reality to 3D gaming experiences that you just put on the 3D headgear on and then turn the game on and then look like you are inside the game world which is sounds cool to gamers.

What they do is, they enlarge the screen size up to 110 degrees which is lot 100% bigger than the normal TV which is helps to make a game look big.

You may also move your head to move a view of the game that follows which you don't turn away the game screen.

I say it look like a fantastic concept that Oculus Rift is bringing to future gaming. I'm sure this company will able to release soon which I'm not 100% sure when it release.

Infamous 2 PS3 Digital Download Review

I've just reviewed the first game since 4 months ago and I felt it's very interesting game when it's comes with open world gameplay, characters and stories which went good so far and now I'm going to review the sequel to the first original on PS3 exclusive made by Sucker Punch Productions.
The story is takes place in Empire City. Cole McGrath battles to fight the new nemesis Bertrand groups who taking over the Empire City along with the beast. Cole set his quest to find his way to defeat the beast while stopping the Bertrand groups ruling the Empire City. I got to say this game has a few improvements from the first game. the gameplay is getting better with combat moves, difficulty mission and power ups upgrades which plays lot better with controls. the graphics details is much updated with few of the game engine to improve the design of the open world stages and backgrounds textures which makes lot more cleaner and bolder which did a great job. It has a great soundtrack on the game since the first ones. the voice acting is did great for supporting characters while Cole was voiced by Eric Ladin which is sounds okay but it's sounds too froggy for his voice. look how well Jason Cottle sounds lot better on the first game, it's prefectly fits well on the character Cole voice. The special features is great when it's comes with new power ups to upgrades the new abillites. There some of the side mission to choose. you can mess around the open world stages for fun which is quite fun to play. you can able to download the extra content which I don't have any but maybe someday I will get it in the future if I have a time to do. there is a problems with difficulty considered to be hard sometimes when the mission can be tricky sometimes but it's challenging as ever. okay then here is my overall score of this game that will Sucker Punch Productions can holds ups the sequel.

Gameplay 8.1/10 - Great combat controls and great mission gameplay.

Graphics 8/10 - Graphics details is getting better with game design of open world stages and backgrounds textures.

Music and Sounds - 7.9/10 - Great soundtrack for music. the voice acting did great for supporting characters while Cole is seems sound new from the first ones.

Special Features 8/10 - It has a DLC to download the extra content. Side mission is also featured. you could also mess around the stages for fun.

Downside - Cole's new voice is sounds to froggy compared to originals ones.
Sometimes the mission can be too tricky for bad guys and some of the mission adjectives.

Overall 8.1/10 - I say the sequel went good from the original. I say it's a recemended to buy this if you owned the first game already because Sucker Punch Productions made Infamous 2 so fun for SONY fans to enjoy.
