Dead Space PS3 Review

Dead Space is a Sci-Fi Horror games, made by Electronic Arts, I've heard this game just won a Awards in 2008 and sold 2 million copies which this game became most epic horror game that EA can handle the best horror game to make which comes with darker scenes, scary atmosphere and blood and gore which is deadly cool in this game, the story take place in year 2507, the engineer Isaac Clarke got trapped in Concordance Extraction Corporation, his mission to find his way to escape the corporation from a deadly monster who tried to attempted attacking him and the survivors in the space, I say it's a interesting story and the characters such as Isaac Clarke comes with cool design looking armor, lets talk about the gameplay, the gameplay is shared the similarly to some of the Survival Horror games such as Capcom's Resident Evil 4 and 5, the game controls is like Resident Evil 4 and 5 that you have to move a character around and hold to ready then press to shoot the crap of the monster is looked similar but it's definitely played perfect with shooting range, you can also use melee attack to punch them in the face and stomping on the floor is way badass, you can able to get to the store to buy the items and weapons to collect and you may also get to banch machine to upgrade your weapons and armor when you collect the power nodes to help upgrades to improving the players strength and weapons performance, the weapons is awesome, the plasma cutter is powerful as ever, the pulse rifles shoots with nail bullets, Flamethrower burns with flame, Line gun shoots monster in half and the ripper grinds the monsters with disc blades is fun as ever, you may also use the kinesis to pick up and move the objects and stasis to slow the objects down but it may also worked with monster too which is hella fun, hell yeah!, the map screen on the inventory screen tells you where you supposed to go and what room are you in? but it's better to press the right thumbstick button to see a blue lines that tells you to go right  direction which is seems easier, anyway the map screen is reminds me one of the FPS game on Gamecube like Metroid Prime is looked the same which I can tell of the theme design on the menu screen and the map screen, talking about the similarly huh, the levels is very puzzled to solve the problem but it's still great fun to play with, the graphics is well designed for characters and levels but it's too dark to see in the levels, the music and sound is scarier as hell and great for voice acting for supporting characters, the special features is you get to have a concept art on extra features and unlocking the ten power nodes and 50,000 credits but the cheat features will work when you pause on the menu and press the right code to add more credits, nodes and refill the health, cool, ok'ay then here is my overall score of this game.

Gameplay 8.8/10 - Controls schemes is played outstanding for character movements, shooting range and levels stages.

Graphics 9/10 - Great character and level design with great textures and backgrounds but it's little bit too dark to see in the game.

Music and Sounds 8/10 - scary music, thrilling sounds and great voice acting.

Special Features 8.5/10 - More weapons and items to buy, upgrading the armor and weapons to improved, unlocking stuff or using cheat menu that makes a great features to have on this game.

Overall 8.9/10 - It's definitely the best Sci-Fi game on HD console, Dead Space is considered to be very best on EA franchises, Electronic Arts is making the game awesome and I suggest you to buy it on PS3 and X360.

Castlevania - Lords of Shadows PS3 Review

Before I gonna review this, let me talk about the history of the great Castlevania franchise made by Konami, in the 80's, the first Castlevania came on NES which is side scroller horror that you go whip some deadly monsters in the Castle and defeat the evil Dracula which is fun to play with and considered to be best 2D side scroller horror on NES, there is a sequel comes with Castlevania 2 Simon's Quest which is 2D side scrolling RPG which is unlikely the original Castlevania, I say it's not good as the first ones but it has a lot of mistakes in gameplay, then there is a another sequel comes with Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse which brings back the same elements as the first game with huge improvements over the second game, I say it's a good fun to play on NES.
In 90's, Super Castlevania 4 came on SNES, I found this game is fantastic when comes with awesome gameplay, stages and boss levels, I say it's the best 2D side scroller horror on SNES and so with the SEGA Genesis classics such as Castlevania Bloodlines is great too, there is a game called Castlevania - Rondo of blood on the T-Gfx CD which is never came out on UK and USA but I have to say it's a great game which is only in Japan unless we can get it on SNES version which is called Castlevania:Dracula X which is decent port for SNES but not good as the T-Gfx CD version which comes with awesome soundtrack, Cutscenes and able to use save data to continue the game which SNES can't handle it due to the limited of cartridge size, so I say the SNES is not that bad at all, there is a another game called Castlevania - Symphony of the night comes on PSX regarding to be best Castlevania games ever created from the fans and critics who given a lot of 9 out of 10 which becomes very successful games, I have not completed the game yet but still the outstanding game for PSX, then there is a 3D adventure game called Castlevania 64 for N64 considered to be worst on the series and so with Legacy of Darkness is god awful too, in 2000's, I have not played some of the modern Castlevania games yet until I got a Lords of Shadows for PS3 which came released in 2010, so now i'm reviewing this.

Castlevania - Lord of shadows is a action adventure games and reboot of the franchise which comes with different story and the character in the game, the story is about Gabriel Belmont set his journey to fight the dark lords who taken over the people town's and collects the pieces of god mask to get his wife Marie back from the dead who been murdered by the devil, I say the story is quite different from the main series because it's a rebooting from the original series, Gabriel Belmont is a good character in the game, he kicks lot of monster ass with light and shadow magic, Holy Cross whip with awesome combo moves, cool stunts in QTE and he can climb and jump walls which is cool about this guy, this game comes with 12 chapters to complete and took me about 2 weeks to complete, you may also download the 2 extra chapters as well, in the gameplay, the combat moves is likely similar to God of war series, you can attack the bad guys with whip and throwing items, you can also upgrades the combo moves, learn new moves and relics moves to improve the player's performance, the character can able to climb and jump the walls to find a way to exit which is likely compared to Altair from Assassin Creed series and Lara Croft from Tomb Raider series did a better job, the puzzles is hardest thing to solved the problems when you get to the levels and there is a puzzles room to activates the door open to get through, I say game controls and gameplay system considered to be very good in the game, the graphics is decent for character design, level stages, backgrounds and textures, the music and sounds is outstanding for epic soundtrack, awesome sound effects and great voice acting, the special features comes with artwork, chess games like and downloading 2 new chapters which is ok'ay but needs more than enough to have, ok'ay can it be a good Castlevania games yet, lets find out.

Gameplay 8/10 - Gameplay is good for basic combat, magic and learn new moves to upgrade which makes a impressive performance for gameplay.

Graphics 7/10 - Graphics is decent for character design, levels stages, backgrounds and textures.

Music and sounds 9/10 - Outstanding music, Awesome sound effects and Great voice acting.

Special Features 6.5/10 - Artwork, chess game like and 2 new chapters to download is ok'ay but need more stuff to have.

Downside - Levels can be confusing to find.
Puzzles can be difficult to solve problems.

Overall 7.5/10 - It's a very good Castlevania games, so looks like Konami did a great job for this game.

10 - Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare

As you know Call of Duty is used to be awesome in olden years, but the new ones did not do well anymore. This game may be the best Call of Duty games here. The single player campaign is great with some actions and awesome missions. The online battles is still fun to play and it's so addicting that took you to play this all day and night long. After the COD 1,2,3 and 4 is the only 4 good Call of Duty games, while the rest of the Call of Duty games in newer days sucks because Activison are so damn lazy to develop the games, rather than making something new, which destroys the whole franchises. So forget the new crappy COD games, please stick with older games.  

9 - Medal of Honor

Ahhh, one of the Electronics Arts classics. Medal of Honor is a world war 2 Shooter, comes with a fun campaign levels with awesome weapons, thanks to Steven Spielberg for directing this game. The story takes place with Lt.Jimmy Patterson takes on Nazi Germany forces, who planning to take over the europe. The gameplay is just how EA manages to make a great FPS games on PS1 exclusive. It's fun to shoot the crap of these Nazis and the misssion adjectives is challenging as ever with fantastic levels. So this is the best FPS for PS1 only.

8 - Metroid Prime 2 Echoes

One of the FPS adventures for Gamecube. Metroid Prime 2 Echoes is the FPS shooter with open world stages. Samus Aran the bounty hunter is ready to kick some alien asses with blast gun. Do you know whats the good thing about this game? It has a awesome power up weapons and abilties. The levels is challenging as ever with epic bosses and stuff like fighting the enemies. The muiltiplayer is quite fun on gamecube, but not fun as the other FPS games, so who cares, just enjoy this game because it's the Nintendo games we been playing lot of times.

7 - Halo 2

Master Chief is back in sequel for original xbox. The first halo is brilliant with intense muilitiplayer and beauiful single player campaign, but what about this game has the offers to make a great sequel. It comes with newer gameplay and newer stages. It's the longest games to complete. Gamers are so amazed with halo franchises all because of the characters like Master Chief is the only become best video game characters in the game. The muiltiplayer is so addicting and just how people enjoys their experiences with great deathmatches. The campaign is epic as ever, lot of action, lot of atmospheric, and it's has a best weapons in the game to shoot the crap outta the aliens, so well done Bungie for making the best FPS in xbox exclusive untill the 343 Industries taking over your franchise, damn, why Bungie leave Microsoft?.

6 - Killzone 3

So if you hate the first game on PS2, so why did you play the second ones. I know why is because it's meant to be the most improved sequels for PS3, YEAHHHHHH! It finally worked, thank you SONY. So what about the third one. The Killzone 3 comes with Epic levels and some action packed shooter.  The single player is fantastic with decent weapons, brutal melee attacks and kick ass levels with the most epic missions in the game. The muiltiplayer is crazier in the stages all because there so many players are shooting the hell out of us, which brought us a fantastic online matches. I have to admit it that the helghast solders are the best troopers and most badass space villains of all times. I say it's a great fun to play with, HELL YEAH!

5 - Duke Nukem 3D

It's time to kickass and chew bubble gum and i'm all outta gum. 3D realms made a classic FPS called Duke Nukem 3D is the FPS games on PC and became popular among with fans alike. It's takes place with Duke Nukem battles to fight the aliens who takes over the earth. Duke Nukem is the badass guy with awesome quotes and funny sense of humour to keep the game entertaining. It has classy weapons with machine gun, rocket laucher and nuke bomb is awesome on single player. The levels is challenging, but it can be confusing too, but still a fun to play until 14 years later comes with a sequel Duke Nukem Forever went epic fail, damn! it should have released in 2001 rather than the 2011.

4 - Unreal Tournament

 

















Epic games made Unreal Tournament for PC, PS2 and DC. Challengeing the players in online battles is fun and balanced Shooter here because of the deathmatch is how awesome this game is, it's bloody, it's epic, it's killing spree times. You can customizing the characters mods is fun to create your own characters appearances and voices. the weapons on the game is fantastic with minigun, rocket laucher, stock gun, grenade gun and all which makes the game so cool. While completing with Id classics like Quake 3 Arena was made after this. you know I like about this game, shooting the heads off, (shoots the players heads off) HEADSHOT!.

3 - Quake 3 Arena

Like Unreal Tournament on PC, Quake 3 Arena is the best on the Quake series. The deathmatch is bloody wicked on muiltiplayer. It comes with awesome weapons like plasma gun, rocket laucher, railgun, lighting gun and all others is badass. It has a 14 or 16 cool stages and the kickass music track made by Sonic Mayhem and Front line Assembly, yeah!. So I'm sure Id gonna make the another sequel to Quake 3 Arena which proberly sounds cool in the future, what do you think.

2 - Doom

Doom is one hell of the game comes to PC. Shooting the bunch of demons and go through the levels is fun to play. You playing as the Demon slayer called Doomguy is here to fight the demons to survive in hell. It's has a over 30 memorable levels in this game and the weapons is deadler as ever such as the BFG 9000 stands for Big F-ing Gun, which shoots the big green plasma bullet to melt down the demons in blood, yeah bitch! It's has a kickass Heavy Metal music, which makes the game more lot epic, YEAHHHH! thats what every FPS games needed. Doom is a one of the Id's best franchise, which deserved to be number 2 on my list. John Romero, I'll salute you for being greatest video game creator on this game since Wolfenstein 3D.

1 - Goldeneye 64

 














One of my childhood favourites FPS game in history comes to Nintendo 64. Rare made a superb FPS Genre for N64 is Goldeneye 64 is one of the best James Bond games ever created which comes with fantastic 25 levels and perfect muiltiplayer is fun to play. The gameplay is outstanding with precised shooting range and controls schemes. The graphics is look very stands out for 64 bit era. The music and sound effects is shout and loud brilliantly. The mission adjectives is challenging fun with stealthy gameplay. Too bad Rare left Nintendo in 2002, which acquired to Microsoft to make a games. Is any reasons why this game never came out on xbox live arcade, due to Microsoft and Nintendo didn't make agreement, instead the remake came out in 2010, which made by Activision which sounds pointless on Wii. All I wanted for Rare to bring out the masterpiece to Xbox live arcade, not a crappy remake to make it look like COD games, damn you Activsion for destroying the game based on the best originals for N64. If you still have a N64, you proberly still lucky to play this. Goldeneye 64 is a FPS Masterpiece which deserves to be number one for being best FPS Game in history that defines gaming.

Virtua Fighter 5 PS3 Review

Before I review this, let me talk about the history of Virtua Fighter series, I remember playing Virtua Fighter 2 on SEGA Saturn when I was the kid in 1997, I never played the first game which came out the arcade in 1993 before the 32x and Saturn release in 1995 but in my current age, I get to play it on SEGA Genesis emulator for PC, Virtua Fighter on 32x is ok'ay but the problem is the controls is sloppy and graphics looks more blocky than the arcade version on SEGA Model 1, so I've heard the improved version came on SEGA Saturn is Virtua Fighter Remix which features improved controls, better graphics and arrange music tracks which I never played it, the sequel came in 1996 is Virtua Fighter 2 on SEGA Saturn and became the top selling game which populazed the 3D fighting game genre and one of the best fighting game on Saturn it's because of the controls played better than the originals and better graphics design, so too bad my brother sold my SEGA Saturn because he getting Nintendo 64 for year christmas 1997, damn I'm missed the Saturn, lucky I've got it on SEGA Model 2 emulator which is good, back in 1999, Virtua Fighter 3 came out on SEGA Dreamcast and I did play it and what can I say about it, it's quite decent fighting game but it's not good as the second on Saturn but SEGA did a good job for Dreamcast, back in 2002, there is a Virtua Fighter 4 on PS2 which I never played it because I don't have a PS2 but the SEGA fans concidered the 4th installiment is way much more better than the previous Virtua Fighter, it's comes with awesome technique moves and combos styles which is quite new on the game, In 2007, Virtua Fighter 5 did came out on PS3 and X360.

So now I got this game on PS3, Virtua Fighter 5 came with 3 new characters, quest mode, learning a new techniques for combo moves and customising the characters outfits, the only problem is the PS3 did'nt have a online battles features which unlikely on X360 did have one, so I'm sure the updated version of this will came on june 5th as Final Showdown edition will proberly come on PSN and Xbox live Arcade with online features which is good to have it, ok'ay lets talk about the gameplay, the controls is played fantastic, the combos has brilliant combination moves when pressing the d-pad and buttons will makes the characters do something cool for their technique moves which is definely worked in this game, the graphics is beauifully well design for characters, stages and backgrounds which comes with better textures, smooth design and great animation, the music and the sounds effects is very good indeed, the special features will have a training mode, quest mode, customising the outfit, 2 players battles and unlocking the classic Virtua Fighter boss characters Dural.
so what can I say about this, here is my overall score.

Gameplay 9/10 - The controls is playing outstanding for combo moves and cool techniques styles.

Graphics 9/10 - Beauifully well Design for Characters, stages and the animation.

Music and Sounds 8.9/10 - Very good music and Sound effects.

Special Features 8/10 - It's includes the Training modes, quest modes, Customising the outfits, 2 player battles and Unlocking boss characters Dural.

Downside - No online features (unless you get the updated version on June 5th as the Final showdown edition or get it on original X360 version).

Overall 9/10 - Virtua Fighter 5 is the best on the series, I say it worth buy it for SEGA fans and gamers.          

Killzone 3 PS3 review

I've just reviewed Killzone 2 on my blogger last year and i've just say it's a good game comes with improved sequel to the first original, now I have a killzone 3 for PS3 exclusive, the story is about ISA continues to take on Helghast who planning to taking over the world, it's starts off with after killzone 2, Sev and Rico as ISA Solder continues their mission after they defeated Scholar Visari the Helghan Empire been shot to death, the only remaining bad guy characters is Jorhan Stahl the Chairman of Stahl Arms working with Helghast corporation planning to destroy ISA and the earth.
This game features with 9 mission chapters in campaign, Muiltiplayer has co-op mode, Online battle and downloadable content includes extra map pack for muiltiplayer, the level in the game is lot more epic than before, it has a awesome fights like MAWLR the war machines shoots with missiles, Machine gun and lighting bolts, flying with ships to take down the helghast cruiser ship and riding on vehicles and machines with turrets to shoot the crap of a helghast troops, WOW thats mind blowing game i've played, the characters are ok'ay, I say ISA troops is look boring with their costumes but I say Sev and Rico new look is decent than the previous games, I pefer the Helghast troops is way much badass with gas mask is look scarier as hell, it has pyro trooper who shoots with flamethrower, the air trooper who can fly with jetpack with machine gun attachments, arc trooper comes with heavy weapon like arc rifles and capture troopers who good at melee attack, I say Helghast solder is a best villiain in gaming.
What can I say about the gameplay, the controls is getting better because the shooting range is impressive to shoot properly the enemies is definely worked and so with the movements is playable, It has a best weapons in the game, the machine gun, shotgun and pistol is the main thing in the game but It also has Boltgun shoots with green laser to blow the enemies like a balloons, hell yeah thats kick ass, the flamethrower, YEAHHHHHHHH BURN THEM TO HELLLLLLL!,  the electritiy gun, IT'S SHOCKING TIME! BZZZZZZZZZZ!, the chaingun, LETS GRIND THEM! DODODODODODO!, and last but not least, the turret gun shoots with mini missiles and air strike, YEAHHHHHHHH KILL THAT BASTARDS!, the weapons is crazier and deadler as ever seen.
The graphics is fantastic, the characters design, level design is well detailed with Havok engine but it's includes 3DTV features, WOW when I put on 3D glasses on and it's definely worked perfect, I say it's a best graphics on PS3 system, the music is outstanding and sound effect goes louder and BOOM, the voice acting is great with characters.
The online muiltiplayer battles is fun to play against the players in around the world, ether you choose ISA or Helghast to fight over the war, you could get rank up on menu and you can get unlock points to unlock the weapons is good to have a better weapons, sometimes the players is good at stealth and you won't able to see who shooting at you but you can be revived by players who is field medic is the good thing or stay with your team is the best way to be survived without getting killed by the enemies, the flying turrets and the machine turrets can be annoying which is manufacted by engineer, it's shoots with machine gun to take the players down, the problem in the online battles the players can be clever when using disguiseing devices to pretends to be your team members but they can fooled you, the best way to stop them disguiseing is when you point at players with crossairs, make sure it's indicates with orange crossairs which means it could be your enemy disguiseing as your team, be careful to not shoot at the wrong person when indicates the green crossairs.

Gameplay 8.5/10 - The controls schemes is great for shooting range, weapons and movements.

Graphics 10/10 - Best graphics technology made by Havok comes with 3D features, Chraracters and Levels is remarkable.

Music and Sounds 9/10 - Outstanding music, Awesome sound effects and Great voice acting.

Special Features 8/10 - Online muiltiplayer, co-ops, 9 campaign levels and Downloadable contents.

Downside - Bad guys is tough as hell in campaign.
Flying turrets and Machine turrets can be annoying in Online battles.
Some players disguisting they selves (examples Helghast players pretends to be ISA players by using disguisting devices) during the online battles.

Overall 8.6/10 - Killzone 3 is the most epic sequel comes with fantastic aspects and best on the series, I say buy this and get ready to kick some ass.
