Top 5 Games to play on Halloween

Today, I decided to make another trick and treats gaming blog for Halloween. I've already made the Top 5 Survival Horror Game since last year, so if you haven't seen my Top 5 then go check it out on this link down below:

Okay, this time that I'm going to make my Top 5 that the gamers should play it on the day of Halloween. It can be any types of horror/thriller genres such as Zombies, Vampires, Ghosts, Demons, Psychological, Slasher, and others kinds of stuff in gaming. Here is my Top 5 Games to play on Halloween.

5 - Zombies Ate My Neighbours

It was one of the cult classics SNES game in 90's by the developers LucasArts and published by Konami.

Zombies Ate My Neighbours (AKA Zombies in Europe) is a top down co-op shooter that you take control of two protagonist has the mission to rescue the next door neighbours from deadly zombies.
What makes the game fun is having 55 levels and 2 player co-op with awesome level design, fluid gameplay controls, rescuing most hostages from different levels, and has really fun boss levels makes the game so addicting to play with. Most of the monsters are quite like from the horror movies, which the game made a great references from the classic horror movie.

4 - Luigi's Mansion

Luigi's Mansion was one of the Nintendo's great spin-off to Super Mario Franchises for Nintendo Gamecube and it is the fifth best selling Gamecube games in 2000's.

You get to play as Luigi has the quest to find his brother Mario in the mansion. What makes the game so interesting is that the game kinda reminds me from the 80's classic movies "Ghostbusters" where the guys have to capture the ghost with electric devices gun in the movie, but in this game, you have to suck the ghost inside the vacuum cleaner, which is kinda cool to see Luigi capturing all the ghosts.
The game has some of the funny moments with great sense of humour to make the whole atmosphere and presentation so entertaining.

This game really has impressive puzzle solving, simple controls, finding hidden objects, 3 different power-ups and superb boss fights made the game so amazingly fun to play and it is also have well made graphics design are superb for gamecube standards and it has the fantastic spooky soundtrack, which fits perfectly for this game.

3 - Super Castlevania 4

Super Castlevania 4 is one of my favourite game on the series. This is the first Castlevania game for SNES by Konami and it is the remake of the original NES classics from the 80's.

You are playing as the badass vampire killer named Simon Belmont has the quest to kick dracula's ass through the amazing 11 levels. I love the darker vampire theme of the game because it has gothic feels to the game atmosphere, it has gritty level design with unique graphics stages, and of course most of the enemies in the game are so deadly awesome that fits well for this game. The gameplay has pretty straightforward controls with variety of whip moves and using items attack feels much easier to control the protagonist, and the whole levels of the game has intense challenges and it has the best boss fight in the whole game, which makes the best Castlevania game ever made in my opinion.

2 - House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut

I'm the fan of playing the rail-shooter arcade games like House of the Dead series, so my favourite modern rail-shooter game goes to House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut is the great example of being the best PS Move games for PS3.

This game has the Quentin Tarantino's movie feels in comedy zombies games with funny characters drops the F-Word, has the cool action shooting flicks, more gruesome content, and has kick-ass story cutscenes that keeps the overall presentation sounds badass.
It has responsive controls with the use of PS Move makes the gameplay easier to control with and it has really great weapons to choose from with the magnificent upgrades.
The PS3 version offers two extra levels to play as two hot female characters and it has more additional bonus and director cut's mode, which the Wii version have lacked of these content, so look like the PS3 version is the better version of the game's overall.

1 - Doom

Doom is the classic PC game that made FPS genre so popular in 90's. It is the fast paced FPS game that you get to play as main protagonist known as Doomguy has the mission to survive through the levels from the demons of hell.

This game has 3 episodes with 8 missions each, while the extra episode are later release for the expansion called Ultimate Doom.
The gameplay has very basic controls, weapon selection, collecting items and keys, shooting the crap of the demons, and run to the exit room that made the game so original in classic 90's. I really like the gruesome blood content and gory theme on the whole game and of course the game has the memorable monsters, such as Imp, Hell Knight, Cacodemon, Spider Mastermind, and one of my favourite bosses in the game is the badass Cyberdemon that shoots the rocket launcher. My favourite weapon in FPS history goes to BFG 9000 known as Big F-ing Gun 9000 that shoots with the green plasma is frigging epic.
The music in the game has mixed with Heavy Metal and Ambient sounds was made by video game composer Robert Prince did a fantastic job that keeps the original soundtrack so intense and memorable to listen while playing the game.

Doomguy is one of the most badass video game protagonist in history next to characters like Duke Nukem from "Duke Nukem series" and Master Chief from "Halo franchise."
